You are Tendou Satori's classmate and you had a major crush on him, like a high school girl type peeking every chance you could get! But he never noticed it...Well, more like you didn't want him to find out because this crush was what others in the community called forbidden because...you were a boy too. It was seen as weird as it was only written in Bl/Yaois giving you a weird vibe when trying to read about more yourself, and how you're Supposed to feel about liking boys. Tendou was the first boy crush you've had that your tiny mind can remember, it's been like this since 10th grade, and it's been growing ever since. You two are friends but you can't tell him straight up that you like him because it could ruin the many years of a relationship you've done to build up, and the only other person that knows that your gay is Ushijima but that's because he's also gay. He came out to you because you two were close then you and he is with Tendou but Tendou doesn't know that or at least to your knowledge he doesn't. Last night while having a sleepover with Ushijima you finally decided that you'll finally tell Tendou how you feel about him, you're just hoping he is just the type to quickly reject and not let on about your Faggot in love with him. You go to his shoe locker and put an envelope in there that has a heart sticker that you got a packet of at the convenience store, you stuck it in there and ran away immensely to your shoe locker to put on your school shoes before he got there. Later that day when you're in class you notice Tendou is holding the letter and showing it to his friend who looks at him with ooh's and aaa's about him getting a love letter and wondering who's the lucky 'girl ' and he couldn't tell because you had thought to keep it anonymous so that if he read it beforehand he wouldn't out you to the class and be the laughing stock. When school ended the first thing you did was speedwalk to the location of the meetup you told Tendou to talk about your feelings. 

You had gotten there a little too early because he didn't know for 10 minutes and was starting to lose hope you saw him walking over and suddenly you started shaking at the knees and became a lovesick puppy. He asked "Oh hey dude! girl gave me this love letter and told me to meet her here do you know where she could be??" He started to look around frantically you swallowed your spit and told him "Tendou...I was the one that sent you the love letter. Not some girl because...I love you Tendou Satori, I've loved you since we became friends in 10th grade and it's been difficult to hide it from you because you're funny, kind, and a jokester and that's what I love about you and you're also really cute and I mean cute as I wanna kiss you! But If you accept my feelings I could finally do the things I've always wanted to do! Take you out to places that only couples go and do together. So Tendou Satori...Will you be my boyfriend!" You finally finished your nerve-racking speech and when you finally finished you awaited his response but all that came out of his mouth was silence...then, laughter? You were confused about why...why was he laughing at your confession then you looked at him and how he was crying tears of laughter and holding his stomach, you ask him "What funny?! I just poured my heart out and that's what you do? Well, Tendou what's your answer...But I know what it will be, so tell me straight up now!" He stopped laughing and just.. .looked at you. 

"Well," He started "If you want a solid answer if me laughing wasn't enough. no. I wouldn't date you [Y/NL/N] what you just confessed to me just told me everything. That you are a Faggot, Freak!- And honestly, now that I know this knowledge I don't think we should even be friends and you shouldn't even look in my direction." You just stood there in shock, then anger. Anger took you over and you slapped him as hard as your hand could force itself can do. Then you walked, no ran away from the scene, it's cheesy but you felt like you were in a manga scene where the main character had rejected a childhood friend but this was different because you weren't a girl, and you were gay. A gay man that loved a classmate that was homophobic or just hiding his true self and so god help you you hope its the 2nd option.

You didn't go to school for 3 weeks. You were too embarrassed and saddened about what happened with Tendou to even face him because as he said himself " You shouldn't even look in my direction" but Ushijima was worried about you, he was worried about how much Tendou hurt you. While he did talk to him about his choice of wordings to you and not to tell a soul or else he'd beat him to a pulm you still couldn't do it. You had fallen into a state of depression that you honestly wanted to end because of some silly crush. But nonetheless, you got up, for Ushijima's sake, who's been there for you through thick and thin. while you talked about you then crush on Tendou and stayed with you during your 3-week depression of being so heartbroken. He was a good friend and honestly, through it all you've caught feeling for him, you know he was also gay which wasn't a problem but the problem was if he liked you back. I mean two of the gay guys actually liking each other not the biggest likely but still pretty big considering you don't know if they are others like you two. 

You were nervous heading into class. You we scared that Tendou had told everyone about your confession and be the school laughing stoke, and maybe Ushjima would protect you because he was one of the biggest guys in the school,  but when walking to school no one said anything, no one stared or even was whispering things about you 'behind your back' you went to your locker with a bit of fear still learning from the thoughts of the imaginary audience. your locker, it was your shoes and neatly placed next to your shoe was...a letter? Was it sitting there for long? Was it by a girl? Another guy? You took it, stuffed it into your pocket, put on your school shoes, and went on with your day. 

During lunch, you decided to open the letter and it read, 

Dear, Y/N I like you, please meet me at the back of the gym so I can tell you face to face.

You were shocked at this, more than shocked. Surprised! Because Though all that time of being friends he liked you? A guy who was straightforward about was able to keep liking you a secret for a long time till he gave you the letter? First, you thought it was a joke, a scam, something to get your hopes up! But...even if it was you still had to make sure so you didn't leave Ushijima waiting at the back of the gym...After school, you went to the back of the gym and there you saw, Ushijima. With a daisy, your favorite. You started walking faster then the walking turned into running and running turned into falling. Falling into Ushijima's arms, telling him YES YES! shocked at the sudden answer but he just softly smiled and shushed you and pulled you in for a kiss. When he did, you kissed right back, sure the ground was dirty with pavement and gravel but you didn't care, you two were enjoying the moment, this moment, this blissful moment with each other being happy with each other.

Going into Tendou's POV that day: He thought to himself 'I shouldn't have said that, I shouldn't have! It was rude of me, it was cruel of me to do so! He hasn't shown up for 3 weeks and now he shows?! But he seems...happier? He's happier without me...Why am I so stuck up on him and worried about him...It's not like I love the dude like he loved me... right?'
