It was a vast lake, cutting hundreds of thousands of miles of forest into two. The clear lakewater reflected the blue sky, and the breeze swept by, producing layers of scaly ripples. It looked very beautiful. Many wild animals laid by the lakeside drinking water, ears erect, and maintaining a high degree of vigilance.

Located in the interior of the forest, it was a paradise for wild animals and an area forbidden for beastmen. But a female beastman lurked quietly in the bushes nearby. The long-nosed elephant wasn't as hairy as the mammoth, but was much larger and looked like a moving mountain when they were walking through the jungle. Their nose was seven or eight meters long, able to roll up huge trees and swallow them. Although they were herbivores, they were far more ferocious than carnivorous beasts.

If the long-nosed elephant passed through, it often indicated that the place would be razed to the ground. The female, Xiao An Chun, turned green with fear and was too afraid to hide in the bushes, running away like the other wild beasts.

A few kilometers behind him, a ten-meter tall Tyrannosaurus Rex was smashing through trees and chasing after the rushing herd. It seemed to be starving, its cavernous jaws dripping with rotten saliva and teeth coldly glinting in the sunlight. Its golden pupils shone with a fierce light, closely watching the herd to pick out suitable prey. Until then, however, it didn't mind eating the slowest one first.

Unfortunately, compared to a herd of antelope, wild deer, and saber-toothed tigers, the female with a pair of short legs was undoubtedly the slowest runner. Even if he tried to outrun the calves, he gradually fell to the back of the fleeing herd, occasionally tripping and falling over vines. In just a few minutes, he had a bruised nose, a swollen face, and wounded body. He looked very pitiful.

The T-Rex had a very keen sense of smell. Even under the green juice's cover, it could still smell the female beastman's blood, which seemed sweeter and tastier than other beasts'. The saliva continuously dripped out of its mouth. It took a sudden stride behind the female, stretched its neck and opened its mouth, trying to swallow him in.
