Taehyung was always an extremely cold man towards you ever since it was found out you two were to be wed in order to keep money circulating through both your families. Although you two had been living in the same house since the wedding, the very awkward wedding, he hadn’t given any hints of trying to make the best out of the situation.
You tried and tried to get him to talk and to communicate at first but, you soon gave up, realizing that he probably wants to live his life in misery and that choice would be on him. You had no problem carrying on by yourself, you were talkative at the dinner table while he would silently eat his food. You’d talk away, telling him anything new you learned, how your day went, anything that popped up into your mind at the time. Taehyung never commented or even made facial expressions at the things you said, and that was oddly okay with you. You were making the best out of your situation and that’s what mattered.

Since you’ve been trying to make some sort of connection with Taehyung, you had since neglected your friends. You were so caught up in everything that you totally forgot what it was like to leave the large house you both stayed in. Due to lots of texts and begging you decided that you’d take a night off of trying to decode the seemingly cold-hearted husband you lived with and enjoy some time with friends. Getting dressed in something short and sexy, your make-up just how you like it, and your hair styled to perfection, you were almost ready to head out the door.

Your phone began ringing and you quickly answered it, not looking at the caller ID. “Hello?” You asked, admiring your fine ass self in the large mirror. It was your friend who was almost arriving to come pick you up, the conversation was short, just telling you to be ready as soon as possible.
After hanging up, you placed your phone in your purse and quickly headed down the flight of stairs, only to be met with Taehyung at the bottom with his arms crossed.
He was dressed in a pair of sweatpants and a tighter fitting t-shirt, his glasses on and his hair a bit disheveled.
You almost never saw him this comfortable, he would usually stay in his work clothes until he went to sleep. “You’re awake?” You ask, smiling at him as you began slipping your heels on.

“Where are you going?” He asked, looking you up and down. You were surprised at the question, surprised that he even cared to ask in the first place.
“Do you think a wife should be going out like that without her husband?” You couldn’t help the immediate scoff that came out of your mouth from his words.

“Well, maybe if my husband cared any other day I’d rethink my wardrobe.” You rolled your eyes before standing straight up, taller now that your heels were on. “We both know this is about your status and how people will think if I leave this place without you, Taehyung. Stop pretending you care and let me have fun.” You huff, adjusting your purse as you heard the car pull up from outside.

“Yah-”

“Save it tae.” You speak sternly before leaving to enjoy your night out of the suffocating yet spacious place you call home.

Your night had been going well, you met up with a couple of friends and you guys went to a local club. There wasn’t much drinking being done…on your friends part since you were getting absolutely hammered. You wanted to let all the stress and worries go and enjoy yourself and that’s exactly what you were doing; dancing your heart out with your girls while slurringly singing along to the songs you barely knew.

It wasn’t as crowded as it could have been but, it was still a tight squeeze. You were too drunk to care though so, your friends made sure your dancing wasn’t causing anyone harm or injury. “(Y/N)! Let’s take a break!” Your friend shouted over the music and you didn’t listen, wanting to continue having your fun. Your friend figured leaving you with a single buddy wouldn’t be an awful idea as she hurried to the bathroom. If only the other friend knew she had left and didn’t wander off with some man she had just met.
