Third Persons POV
Maya held back a yawn, as she crept up the stairs to her bedroom. It was near the end of nine, as Maya slowly slips into her pajamas, falling into the realm of dreams..

~In the dream~

Maya looks around the area; finding herself in a dark room, full of mirrors, in all different shapes and sizes.. She looks into one of them, seeing her eyes flicking into a monotone. She steps back in shock, looking into another one.

There; she sees her dark, brown hair fading into a pitch black. She starts to run, feeling the room closing in on her.. She slips and falls, meeting with her reflection on a clear, wet floor.

She soon sees her new, black hair growing into extreme lengths; almost having a mind if its own. Maya feels her head spinning, as soon as she makes contact with her pale, white skin. A big mirror appears in front of her..

Maya walks a little bit closer, seeing her final reveal.. Her now, long, black hair whips around out of control..her brown eyes are no more, as her eyes are now black and white, spinning into a hypnotizing swirl..

And her fare skin; was now a dead, pale white. She was too scared to move, as a tall, suited figure appears behind her. Along with three more, with different outfits.. She lets out a loud, curdling scream; cracking the glass...

~end of dream~

Maya turns off the annoying buzz of her alarm clock, forgetting to turn it off yesterday.. "Hey, sis, come on. Dad has gotten us pumpkins to carve." Michael knocks on the door, opening to find his sister in a sweat..

"You, alright.? You've been sleeping for awhile now." Michael points to Maya's alarm clock, seeing that it was about four in the afternoon. Maya nods her head, giving a confused look, as to why her brother was holding a bag..

"Oh.. Yeah, apparently, Mom made us costumes." Michael chuckles and puts the bag on Maya's nightstand. "Happy Halloween, sis." Michael walks out of the room, leaving Maya to get dressed..

She opens the bag, finding a newly sewed, black tank top, with dark purple and black striped leggings. She sighs, knowing her mother went all out this year. She looks at herself in the mirror, looking at her costume.

Maya softly smiles, finding a liking a to it. She heard loud music from downstairs, knowing it's her brothers listening to the Monster Mash. She walks downstairs, finding pieces of pumpkin all over the kitchen counter..

"Hey, sis! Cool costume." Malachi and Michael were wearing matching, tattered cloaks, with handmade masks resting on their heads. "I guess.. I just think that Mom wouldn't make costumes that were so- tight?"

The twins finish her sentence, breaking into laughter.. "Yeah, but they're still cool." Malachi looks down at himself, admiring his cloak. "Yeah, guess so.." Maya cracks up a smile; joining in on the pumpkin carving.

"Hey, kiddos. If you're ready for the haunted house, we better get going, before we get stuck in a line with the whole town." Mr. Finner points towards the opened entrance, already have the car running.

"We're coming, Dad." Malachi pushes Michael out of the kitchen, while holding onto Maya, pulling her through the door..

"Whoa! Is that it.?" Malachi calls out, making his siblings look out the car window. Town hall.. There's been a rumor that it was haunted. And now that they've turned it into a haunted house; that made it even more chilling.

Maya hesitated before stepping out of the car and joined her brothers in line.. She glances to her right, seeing Erin and her friends talking to each other. Maya pouts, not wanting to run into them again..

It was about their turn, as Malachi grabbed Michael and ran off into the house.. Maya runs in after them, not wanting to be left alone. About a few minutes into the attraction, Maya was already getting jump scared from every corner.

She walks a little bit faster, hearing a disgusting girlish laugh from behind. Maya was about to turn towards the emergency exit, only to be met with a sharp pain in her shin. She bends down, quietly groaning in pain.

"Hey, Mazey. I did say that you weren't going to get away with what you pulled off yesterday." Erin was about to hit Maya again with the ledge pipe; but Maya catches it before Erin could continue.

Maya snatches the pipe from Erin's grasp and walks her in the side with it. Erin squeaks in pain and falls to the floor. "That's enough.." A shadow covers Maya's vision. "I'm sick and tired of you pushing me around; and calling me by that disgusting name."

Maya grips the pipe in her hand and raises it in the air. "Time for you to be put to rest. That way, people don't have to drown in your attitude." Erin attempts to crawl away, but gets a hard pound to the spine.

Maya ignores the cracks and blood spill, as she continues down to the point where Erin lost her movement. Maya glares down at the body, stepping over it, and walking out the door before the other group comes.

Maya walks down the street of her neighborhood, hearing the flashing lights and sirens heading towards the town hall. She looks off to the side, seeing another bully from her school.

Maya smirks and sprints towards them, delivering a huge blow to the head with the pipe, before a scream could come out. Maya drops the pipe, and slowly makes her way into the woods.

She looks back at her town, hearing a loud chime coming from town halls tower. "Death chimes by midnight." Maya whispers to herself, as she walks into the woods, only to hear static coming from four different directions.

She feels her eyes getting heavy, as she falls to her knees, and passes out into the night..
