Chapter 15: Game changer

[Blue's perspective]

"Then... I should get going."

I didn't know what to say after having unexpected sex with sun. We already did it 3 times and also took a shower together and I didn't feel this much shy while we were doing but now I feeling so shy and I am even embarrassed to look into his eyes.

"Mm...Yes...you should get going. It's already..." we looked at the clock and noticed it almost 12:59 am. "...already 12:59," Sun said.

"Ok, then bye."

"Wait, How are you going to go? somebody going to pick you up?" That is when I realized that I should walk back home. It's not so far from my home to Sun's restaurant but still, it was late so sun decided to drop me off.

He took his scooter key and we headed outside and on our way, we stumbled upon Som.

Som, Sun's elder sister.

It was unexpected because we thought everyone was already asleep and suddenly coming across sum made both of us in a panic mode.

Sun was confused on seeing me there so late.

"Didn't you go?" She asked.

"No..mmm.I was...mm.." I didn't know what to say to her. My hands and were sweating and my voice was shaking due to the lack of answer.

"He came to borrow a book. We were talking and we didn't know it was this late till now. I will drop him off ok. Bye." Sun immediately grabbed my hand and we rushed outside, we hopped on to the scooter, living som handing on the hallway.

I am glad that the situation got under control. It was my first time sitting on the scooter, so I was nervous like hell. I tightly grabbed around Sun's waist and closed my eyes.

He hit on the breaks but we weren't at my house instead we were at an empty parking lot. I was confused for a second but he told me that he wanted to show me something.

We got off the scooter and walked towards the corner into the sidewalk where there was nothing but so many trees.

"Where are we going?" I ask him.

"Just follow me." He headed more inside and found a ladder hanging from a tree.

"Be careful. It's been so many years, I haven't used this ladder." He started climbing it and I followed him. The laser was made out of rope and it was not in a good condition but we still managed to get on the tree with the help of the rope.

He held my hand and helped me sit on the treetop. Up to my way, I was in fear that the rope may break and we may fall but my fear disappeared once I saw the beautiful night view of the town.

There is nothing but a small dot of light in front of my eyes. Like so many twinkle lights were placed beautifully in the correct order and I got mesmerized by the beautiful view.

"You are the first person that I showed this place. My dad and I use to come here, this was our special place." Sun told. I can hear a sense of sadness in his voice.

"Do you miss him?" I slowly asked him

"Yes. He was my hero. He was more like som. Hardworking, selfless, and kind. I am more like my mom. If there wasn't som we both would be so alone." Sun's eyes teared up while he was saying this to me. I gently held his hand and gave him my shoulder. He smiled at me and placed his head on my shoulder and said. "I never had a chance to say a proper goodbye to him."

I feel sorry for him. It may be hard for him to lose his father at a young age. We talked, He said how badly he missed his father, how much struggle his mom had to face to raise them, how his sister took place of his father, and how he adored her.
