As one of the greatest chandler and supplier, at the age of 20, Liu Ming managed to brace his mother and his wife; Liu Jun, his childhood friend and other half while supporting his mother's medicines and Liu Jun at home, selling Chinese silk fabrics in a very high but understandable price. Their life in the village was full of rapture and was blissful.

One day, Liu Ming was compelled to enlist for the looming war in the South. His mother was distressed when she heard it, but was already too late to stop him. Liu Jun dashed and scolded him, "Oh, A-Ming! Why didn't you apprise us that you were going to enlist and induct for the war? You are very unruly for that.."

Yet, Liu Ming insisted on departing for he was determined that he needed to protect his family; his beloved.

Liu Jun could only tear up and caress his husband's face, telling him that he should inform them before going to the capital.

Tomorrow arrived, Liu Ming waved goodbye to his mother and wife forcing himself not to shed tears and not to look back. It's been months since he leaved the town, he was amazed by the scene he was seeing. There is really going to be a war happening here.

"We are here, sir." The helper exclaimed.

Liu Ming stepped outside the carriage and clenched his fist very tightly.
