"you think you're what?!" aileen almost yells.

her and marisol were sat in marisols bedroom as marisol had her head in her hands and was looking at the floor.

"pregnant! i think i'm pregnant okay!" marisol bounces her knee up and down.

"what makes you think that?" aileen wonders as she takes a seat next to her best friend and rubs her back in reassurance.

"i've missed two of my periods, i'm being sick in the morning and i get these weird cravings." she explains and stands up. "like i went downstairs yesterday and asked my mom if we had pickles! i hate pickles!"

"okay, calm down," aileen calmly says.

"calm down?! calm down!!" marisol yells. "how can i calm down when i could be pregnant!" she then whisper yells.

"look, i'll get you a pregnancy test and you can take it and we'll see if you are pregnant or not, okay."

marisol nods. "thanks, aileen."

"don't worry about it." she sighs and leaves the bedroom to go to the store.

it was alejandro's birthday recently and he'd just turned eighteen and the group and a lot of people from school were invited to a massive party.

"hey," aileen sighs as she walks through the bedroom door with a white bag that had the name of the store in bold letters on it. "i got the tests. i bought three. the cashier let giving me weird looks. bitch.."

marisol nods and takes the bag from her and thanks her before walking into the bathroom and locking the door.

"and now we wait." marisol spoke quietly as her and aileen looked at the three tests in front of them. "how long is it suppose to take?"

"five minutes."

marisol nods.

"five minutes is up.." aileen said as she stood up from the bed and walked over to the bathroom with marisol in front. "do you want me to look first?"

marisol shakes her head. "no."

marisol looks at the three and sighs.
