Today was gonna be a good day- I could feel it! I checked my Instagram, seeing that my favorite songwriter, Tallie, was doing a contest! The contest was basically if we followed her, liked that photo, and commented on that photo, she would choose a winner at random, and then go to their house and put on a mini concert. I ended up winning, and she came to my house with some other people. 

Riley and Jess both came, along with a dude I didn't know named Bob. He stayed mostly on the swings. Both of my brothers came, along with Ginny. Tallie told me that I could invite anybody I want. Then my mother came out of the house, and I noticed that everybody at the concert had on some sort of costume. I asked Tallie about it, and she told me, "Oh, yah, we're all supposed to wear clothes that are from ancient Greece, or something that reminds you of that time period."

I started worrying, since I didn't know about this, and had no clothes from Ancient Greece. I went inside my house, downstairs, and looked through my closet, without luck. Then I went upstairs, to see if I could borrow any clothes from my mother. There weren't many choices for ancient Greece, but for some reason, I chose a fur jacket. It didn't make sense to me, nor anybody else, but I still wore it. 

I went back out to get my phone, and text my other friends. I texted Hans and Alex, then went over to Tallie. I double checked that it was ok to invite my crush. She said yes! I switched over to my text conversation with Von. "Hey, wanna come over to my house? Tallie is throwing a concert here!" Putting notifications on, I put the phone into my pocket, and headed over to the swings to wait. There was Bob, of course, and he just gave me a sad head nod and a small wave.

I waited for what felt like hours, and went to talk to Tallie again. "Girl, don't let him get to you! Enjoy the party, have fun!" among many other uplifting things. I went back to the swings and waited. He eventually came.

Esther also came, with her other friend, Tina.

The concert was great, and as all things do, it eventually ended. It was around 7 or 8 PM, by this point. Bron, Ben, Ginny, Von, Riley, Jess, Esther, Tina, Hans, Alex, and I all gathered to hang out for awhile. We hung around the swing set, just talking, for awhile, then headed out on a small walk. We ended up going to the school park near my house, which apparently had a big trampoline. Most of us went on the trampoline. Some stayed on the grass, though. Some reason, Bron, Ben, and Ginny left.

We played a few games, such as Paranoia and Two Truths and a Lie. Esther yelled out, "Red!" and touched her nose. So the game began... Everybody rushed to think of a different color, and touch their nose. 

"Purple!" I yelled, after stumbling over my words a few times. 

"I think I heard purple twice!" Tina yelled back.

I thought a few seconds more before saying, "Cyan!"

Esther told me, "I think you were last, haha!" The others agreed, so I had to do it. This was... unfortunate for me.

I made a weird noise, that kinda sounded like a screaming goat. Everybody, including myself, had a good laugh out of it. We played a few more rounds of that, as well as some other games. 

I checked the time, noticing it was 10:12; I was 12 minutes late! I hurriedly said my goodbyes, and then rushed home. I went to the backyard, and for some reason, it looked more like it was 7 PM, because of how bright it was. I went around, looking for my brothers. I finally saw Bron and Ginny, on a swing that was hanging from the air in the middle of a path leading to the front yard. 

"What are you guys doing?" I ask, in confusion.

"Well, I accidentally scratched a chair at the park so we came home to lay home so we don't get arrested for destruction of property..." Bron told me, which was kind of out of character for him.

I just said, "Ok," and continued on my way, after Ginny gave me a hug for some odd reason. "See ya later."
