Chapter 3: the afternoon at the Sandlot

🌙 𝖑𝖚𝖓𝖆 𝖘𝖆𝖌𝖊 𝖌𝖆𝖗𝖈𝖎a🌙
My sister and I were roaming the town in search on looking for the sandlot that Smalls has mentioned to me earlier today. We walked past the liquor store were we I see two boys come out. We both assume that they play baseball from that they are wearing; Rose and I both sneakily walk behind them. Once those boys got there we hid behind some bushes that were there. "Ow!" Rose yells I cover her mouth as I see through the bushes that all the boys at the diamond all turn there heads. "Seriously Rose were gonna caught" I whisper yell at her "I'm sorry" she whispers yells back. We sit behind the bush for at least 5 minutes; Rose fell asleep on my shoulder as I keep watching them. I see a ball coming our way. Hoping that it wouldn't hit Rose but it hits me instead
I scream and wake up Rose then hearing the sound of running. "Luna are you-" as I look at her "oh my god" I give her a confused look "what" I tell her. Rose's mouth is a little open and points on what's behind me "what Rose spill it already" she turns me around and just see group looking at us. We stand up and I look at the them "hi". I see a little smile on Smalls face "Guys this was the girl I was talking about" I hear a bunch of oh's "this must be your sister" I nod in agreement "yeah this is Rose" she waves at Smalls. "Let me introduced you to the boys. This is Hamilton Porter but we call him Ham..." I see the little ginger wave "Michael Palledorous but we call him Squints, Kenny DeNunez..." I see the both wave and I wave back "Alan McClennan we call him Yeah-yeah, Bertram Grover Weeks..." I see the both smiling "Timmy and Tommy Timmons, And Benny Rodriguez" I see the two brothers wave and the brown hair brown eyed boy looking speechless and a twinkle in his eye. "Nice to meet you all I'm Luna Garica and this is my twin sister Rose". We all talk for a while. They continued practicing till around 3.
We were all walking back to our house till we noticed that all of them live near us. I talking with Smalls and the rest of the boys about softball and they were of course talking about baseball when I hear Benny call me I see Rose go inside and the boys go to there houses.
"What's up" as I approach him. I see his body tense up a little and is a little nervous, personally I think it's cute. "Nothing really um me Bertram and Kenny are throwing a huge high school party this weekend and I was wondering if you and your sister would like to come" I smile "of course we can we wouldn't miss it" I see his body get a little loose "great see you hopefully tomorrow and at the party" I smile again and blush a little "bye Benny" I turn around with the smile still on my face and I hear a little celebration dance from behind and hear Benny go into his home

Man I suck at updating but I'll probably finally have enough time to update now cause I finished my first semester of school and I don't have to go back till the spring. So, I hope you liked this chapter cause pretty soon things are gonna get spicy up in this book  ❤️
