You and him both head back to your room, holding hands. Bucky never says a word to you, and you knew he was still in awe at the show you put on for him. The spectacle in the sky was breathtaking, and anyone would agree.

You never felt that special in your life, and you never felt that way because of someone else. Nobody had ever given you this much energy. Nobody ever was this amazing to you. And it made you care about the Winter Soldier even more.

Bucky has never had someone do something that special for him before. It spoke volumes to him, about how much you cared about him, how you felt every time he was around you and everything in between. His heart melted, no because of your powers, but because of how you made him feel. He knew that if he had your powers, he could give you the world and more. He would follow you till the ends of the earth.

Then as you both settle on the covers of your bed, the question that has been lingering on your mind for the past few weeks starts to pop up again. You knew you couldn't avoid this conversation forever, so it was better to get it over with now.

"Buck, can we talk for a moment?" you ask. The flutterflies are racing in your stomach so much, you almost don't want to ask Bucky about it. But you knew it would be better for you and him.

He gives you a look of concern. "Ya doll. What's wrong?"

"Well, we never talked about what happened a few weeks ago, and we have to talk about it."

Bucky looks at you, with fear in his eyes. He was dreading this conversation. He didn't want this to be a fling when everyone was gone. He wanted this to be real, something that would last. He didn't want you to forget everything that happened between the two of you and act like nothing happened when everyone comes back.

"I know," he said.

"Are we dating?" you ask, with a lace of fear in your tone. You didn't want to lose him and the thought of it was making you lose your mind.

"That's up to you doll," Bucky responds. "You already know how I feel about you. I want to be with you all the time. And I think you feel the same. If you want to take that next step, I'm totally fine with it. We can keep our relationship a secret or we can tell the team. This is up to you, I love you too much to do anything you don't like."

You smiled at Bucky, you were over the moon that he loved you so much and was so caring and considerate about you and how you felt. You realized the cold-hearted assassin Bucky was made to be actually had a heart of gold.

"Well, I love you too and you know that," you smile and he chuckles. "I wanna be with you till my last breath and I would love to be your girlfriend. And I would love for you to be my boyfriend."

Bucky blushes that you called him your boyfriend and that you wanted to be his girlfriend. Bucky then gets up from the bed and stands at the edge of it.

"Will you be my girlfriend, Y/N?" he asks, and it reminds you of how dating was in the old rom-coms you watched with Wanda and Nat. They were so awkward and uncomfortable at first. But those feelings weren't there when he asked you. You smile and nod at him and he pumps his fists into the air.

"HELL YEAH!" Bucky says as he grabs your waist and picks you up. He was spinning you around the room, shouting, "I have a girlfriend! I have a girlfriend!" Then when you both could feel yourselves getting dizzy, Bucky gently placed you back down on the bed. He laid down on your lap like they were two big pillows. "Now that we are dating, do you want to tell the team or not?"

"Well I was thinking when everyone gets back, we could tell one or two people that we trust and tell them about us. You know, take it slow? And then, we can tell the rest of the team. But, we can also tell everyone. I don't know exactly how long, but I know it will be very soon because I am not the best at keeping secrets."

You both laugh.

"I know," Bucky adds with a smirk.

"Stop it!" you yell playfully. "Who are you going to tell?"

"Definitely Steve or Nat." he answers.

Bucky was of course close with Steve, they had known each other for over 70 years. He also got close with Nat. They had a history with one another, and you didn't mind. Sometimes you got a little jealous before, but that wasn't the case now. They knew each other from the Red Room and over time, they reconnected at the Compound. They picked on each other all the time and it drove you insane when they wouldn't stop bickering about the stupidest things.

"Wait, not Sam?" you ask, surprised.

"Oh Hell no. Knowing him, he will tell everyone the moment I say a word.

You laugh, knowing this was true.

"Who are you going to tell?" Bucky asked.

"I was thinking of telling Peter. But also Nat."

Nat and you became close as soon as you got to the Compound. You connected very quickly and always had a girls day with her. You were always able to go to her for advice about anything from weapons to Bucky. She was also very over protective of you whenever you talked about Bucky to her. She was like the mom you never had and even though sometimes it got annoying, it made you appreciate her even more.

But you and Peter became close during your time at the Compound. You met him through Tony about two months after you arrived and hit it off. He was around the same age as you, but since you didn't leave during the snap, you aged 5 years. But the age difference didn't matter when Peter came back. You both acted like nothing even happened. You also had a lot of similar interests and hobbies. Whenever Tony didn't want you both to go on certain missions, you guys hung out. Peter learned new tricks in his new suits, you trained against each other, played games and watched movies.

Sometimes you and Peter even played pranks on Sam, which earned a laugh from everyone on the team except Sam. As everyone around you was laughing, Sam would chase you and Peter around the Compound and Steve would trail behind, trying to stop Sam from chopping your heads off.

"Ok, so you can tell Steve, I'll tell Peter and then we can tell Nat together when they all get back. What do you say?"

"Whatever you want, doll," Bucky smiled. He gave you a kiss on the kiss, making your cheeks burn up as he did so. You give him a kiss on the lips in return.
