"How did it go with you and Spider ling, doll?" Bucky asks you. You just finished telling Peter about your new relationship and seeing Bucky brightened your day.

You roll your eyes at him since he picks on Peter all the time. Sometimes, once in a while, he would pair up with Peter and make fun of Sam. Other times it was Sam and Peter against Bucky, but most of the time, Bucky and Sam messed with Peter.

"It was fine," you reply. "Did you save me some food?"

When Bucky didn't reply and looked at you, his eyes widened, you knew he forgot.

"Sorry," he mumbled. Then he was running all over the house because you were chasing him, holding a spatula in your hand. You were whacking him on his back and arms until he finally turned around and catched you in his arms. It was a tight embrace, full of love and passion. You giggled as he threw you on the couch in the living room and when he took the spatula out of your firm grip.

"Sorry," you mumble.

"I know you're hungry so let me fix ya something up," Bucky chuckled. "Will you let me do that without smacking me in the back, doll?"

You groan like a five year old. "Fine."

Then Bucky got up and started to make you mac and cheese, one of your favorites. He headed back to the couch and handed you your food, which you eagerly snatched from his metal hand and started shoveling it in your mouth.

"Tanks," you said with food in your mouth. Bucky looked at you in confusion as he turned on the TV.

"What?" he asked. When he looked at you, your cheeks were stuffed to the brim, and he was shocked the food wasn't at your mouth.

You looked at him with your mouth full of warm mac and cheese. He had his signature grin stretched on his face. You realized he noticed the little things about you, like your favorite foods, movies and everything in between.

"Thanks," you said after you swallowed your food. "You can have some too by the way."

Bucky grinned at you and took a spoonful for himself. Then you both sat there and put on one of your favorite movies, "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" (the first one). Even though Bucky had no idea what the movie was, you introduced him to the book, which he enjoyed. And he enjoyed the movie just as much while he had you in his arms and mac and cheese in his mouth.

It was around dinner time when you heard something outside. You were making a smoothie for dinner when you heard a helicopter. Steve and Nat had arrived. You, Bucky and Peter went out to greet them. Steve was in a T-Shirt and jeans, and a baseball cap. Nat was in a leather jacket and tank top. She also had on a pair of shorts and sneakers. As soon as you and Nat made eye contact you ran to each other and you missed each other so much. Peter waved to everyone and headed back to his room, still tired from the drive from Queens. Steve and Bucky hugged and started talking. Bucky asked about his recent mission and Steve gave him all the details.

As everyone headed inside for dinner, Peter headed back to his room for another nap. You grabbed your smoothie to eat even though Nat didn't want anything. She just wanted to talk to you about everything you guys had missed. Nat led you to her room for a catch up session while Bucky and Steve were in the kitchen. Since Steve was alone, Bucky figured this would be a good time to tell him.

"Hey Steve, what are you making?" Bucky asks, trying to make conversation.

"BLT," Steve responds. He looks up at Bucky, who has pink fleshed out on his face. Bucky didn't realize it but Steve knew him better than anyone.

"Buck?" Steve asks with BLT in his mouth.

"Steve?"

"I've known you for 70 years and I've never seen pink that bright on your face. What the hell is going on?"

Bucky sighs and gives up on trying to hide it.

"Ok, you caught me. You might wanna have a seat."

Steve does as Bucky recommends.

"Did something happen with Y/N?" Steve says while taking a bite. He knew when Bucky liked someone because when he wasn't very good at hiding it. Bucky made gestures and said little things that made Steve get suspicious. So one day, Steve asked Bucky about it, and Bucky reluctantly told him everything.

Sometimes Steve even gave advice to Bucky. Now that Steve was looking back, he realized how the roles have been reversed. Bucky always had a lady in his hand while Steve was the third wheel. Nowadays, Bucky needed advice and Steve loved helping his best friend.

"Remember last month when everyone had missions except me and Y/N?" Bucky said.

"Yeah," Steve said while eating.

"I got bored and went to see if she was awake, and she was. We were hanging out in her room playing fifty questions an-"

He gets cut off by Steve, who knew exactly where this was going.

"Let me guess, she asked who you liked?" he said point blank.

"Yeah," Bucky said. "And I told her."

"What did she say?"

"She didn't say anything. She kissed me." Bucky admitted.

Steve then high fived Bucky and finished the bite of his sandwich.

"That's great, Buck. Did anything else happen?" he asked, wanting to know everything.

"Ugh," Bucky sighed, knowing Steve would press him if he didn't own up to it. "I told her I loved her."

Steve almost spit out his sandwich at the Winter Soldier's confession. Steve knew that Bucky loved Y/N, but he never heard Bucky say "I love you" to any girl he's ever been with. And he knew Bucky wasn't the best with words, so for him to say that to Y/N was a huge step for him.

"That's a little quick to drop the ball," Steve admitted.

"I know, Steve. But she said it back to me. And we talked last week and decided we're dating. Just don't tell the rest of the team. We are gonna figure out when to tell them."

"I know, Buck. You love keeping everything to yourself," Steve mocked him with a smirk. Bucky gave him a glare and flipped him off while Steve laughed.

"Well, if you're happy, I'm happy," Steve said.

"Thanks Steve," Bucky said.

"Anytime. You just gotta stay with her till the end of the line."

"That's the plan," Bucky said with a smile. The thought of you made his heart skip a beat.

"Just don't do anything stupid," Steve said with a smirk.

"You're a pain in my ass, ya know that?" Bucky sighs, rolling his eyes.

"I've known that for a while, believe it or not," Steve chuckled.

"Thanks," Bucky replied with sarcasm. Bucky went to leave the room and head to tell you how it went, when Captain America started to shout at him.

"Don't do anything stupid!" Steve shouted.

"How can I? You're taking all the stupid with you!" Bucky replied, shouting back.

"PUNK!"

"JERK!"
