(Fluff)

Another night at the shop meant nothing but hours of pacing and cups of coffee to the young apprentice. They had a terrible sleep schedule that left them with dark circled eyes and a sour resting face. As a part of a nightly routine they have been keeping up, the were pacing around and cleaning the shop they lived in with their partner.

It wasnt a healthy habit.

After many restless nights of working as an apprentice to a brilliant magician, aswell as a worker for the plague, they felt heavy. It felt as if they were in a cage 1,000 feet down in the deapths of the sea. As you could imagine, they were always incredibly busy.

The red plague was like nothing that anybody had seen before. Rumors say that the countess created it to kill her husband. They knew this wasnt true considering how many people this terrible illness has claimed, including her husband, count Lucio. The countess may not love him, but she couldnt do anything like that. She seems like, no, she is a kind woman.

The apprentice continued to sweep and dusk around the shop until she saw a fluffy head of white hair peak around the corner.

"Hello Asra, I didnt expect you to be awake at such hours." Asra hugged their partner from behind and rested his head on their shoulder.

"Well I certainly expected you'd be up. While I do appreciate the help around the shop, you should come to bed. Its gonna be a long day tomorrow."

"I apoligize, but i really should finish."

"Dont make me carry you ___, you know very well I will."

"Shiver me timbers." Asra was not very intimidating to the apprentice, and he never had been to them.

"How rude. Would you like a snack?"

"Pretty please."

"Right away m'person." Asra gathered some ingredients and started making an omlet. They lived a simple life, the apprentice enjoyed the time they have had with Asra. Once they finished their food they started washing the dished. They felt lips pressed against the crook of their neck. Asra gave a fake pouty face, pleading to go to bed. They paused for a moment and sighed.
"Okay, okay. Fine you win. Ill come to bed." Asra quickly perked up and smiled.
"Thank you, now come on." The couple shuffled up to their shared bed, and slowly drifted asleep.
