The Story of The Memory-Wings (Wings of Fire fan fiction)

Chapter 3: Memory

                                                                                       6 years later

Princess Memory sat next to her brother, Brain, in the dining room. Her mother, Queen LunarEyes, sat at the end of the table. Today the royal family was meeting with the Sea-Wings to talk about something, Memory didn't really know what. She was not at all happy to meet with the Sea-Wings. Memory and her brother were  hybrids, half Night-Wing and half Silk-Wing. That was not something you want to go tell the other tribes about. Hawkmoth, their father, walked over beside Brain. "Chin up," Hawkmoth said to Brain. He lifted his chin up higher. Hawkmoth smiled //Why won't mom treat me like that...// Memory though, a deep scowl on her face. A guard came up to Queen LunarEyes and whispered something in her ear, then the guard left. "There here!" Queen LunarEyes exclaimed. 4 Sea-Wings walked into the room. The oldest one, Queen Coral, had deep blue colored scales. The oldest heir looked the exact same. The second oldest heir had pale blue scales and pink wings, muck like Hawkmoth. The third oldest heir had dark green scales. "Hello Queen Coral!" Queen LunarEyes exclaimed as the Sea-Wings sat down. The oldest heir sat down next to Memory. Memory looked away from her, but she knew the Sea-Wing heir was giving her weird looks. "Hello Queen LunarEyes! Let us begin our discussion," Queen Coral said. "There have been reports of Rain-Wing spotting's  through out the rain forest. There might be a war," Queen LunarEyes said. Memory's eyes widened. "Do you want to form an alliance?" Queen Coral asked. "Yes," Queen LunarEyes said. "I believe we have a deal then," Queen Coral hissed. The two queens shook talons. "Queen Coral, how would you and your family like to stay in the rain forest kingdom for a bit?" Queen LunarEyes asked. "Why not!" Queen Coral exclaimed cheerfully. "Then it's settled! Tsunami can stay with Memory, Anemone can stay in one of our spare rooms, Auklet can stay in the nursery, and Queen Coral can stay in her chambers! Oh how fun!" Queen LunarEyes happily exclaimed. Memory and the heir next to her, Tsunami, looked at each other for a second, then turned away. Memory got a feeling that this was not going to be fun.
