I just stared at him for a moment, then gently nodded. He released my chin and stood up, grabbing a chair from another table. The back was facing forward and he straddled it, his arms crossed over the top of the chair. I looked at him, then picked my pen back up. It wasn't overworking myself if I just graded a few more. He raised an eyebrow, obviously curious as to what I was doing. Before he did anything, I reassured him, "I'm just doing a few."
At that, he seemed to ease up a bit. He nodded, as in showing his approval. He still watched though, almost as if he didn't trust me. It made me feel a little like a child, but I wouldn't complain. Not yet at least. I began grading the papers, not having much to correct on Momo's paper. After a few moments, I glanced up at Aizawa, seeing that he was still watching me. "yes?" I looked him in the eyes, wondering as to why he wouldn't take his eyes off of me.
The black haired man didn't answer me right away, but just held eye contact. Who knew those tired eyes could have such a powerful effect on someone. I didn't break away, but just stared back into his eyes. I hoped he'd answer my question soon, for I didn't know how much longer I could hold eye contact. To my relief, he finally answered me, "am I not allowed to look at you?" he didn't give me time to respond, just continued, "get back to work." I paused for a moment, in a slight shock. He really just told me to get back to work. Me. The over-worker.
