1) Devyani Mehra:
Devyani Mehra was a Easy going Woman in Her Early and Middle Age but with increasing Age She became Stern & Strict but behind Her Sternness was Her Love for Her Family. Also with Her Sternness, Strictness She is still Easy going and Sweet Grandmother to Her Granddaughters & Grandsons more than to Her Children.

Devyani was Married to a Landlord Ashish Mehra who isn't anymore. From Him She has 2 Daughters (Ratna & Gauri) and 3 Sons (Gaurav, Jay & Abhisekh).

2) Padma and Gaurav Mehra:
Eldest Son "Gaurav Mehra" and Eldest Daughter-in-Law "Padma Bansal Mehra" of Devyani and late Ashish. He is 2 Years Elders to Ratna but married late to His Life long Girlfriend Padma after 7 Years of Courtship. Is blessed with 2 Daughters (Lavanya & Piya) and 1 Son Akash. Loves His Sisters & Brothers Children equally and it was same case with His Wife Padma.

3) Ratna Mehra/ Ratna and Late Arvind Singh Raichand:
Elder Daughter "Ratna Mehra" but is 2 years Younger to Gaurav. Got married to a Rich household to a "Late Arvind Singh Raichand" and became "Ratna Singh Raichand" .

Arvind died in Accident caused by His Mistress "Yamini Singhania". But never told about Accident neither about Arvind's infidelity to Her Mother, Siblings and Children. She was in Misconception created by Arvind's Family that Arnav is Her Step Son and a Product of Arvind's infidelity which lead to Her hatred towards Innocent Arnav and Disconnect His every Way to reach Her Family. But when She came to know about Truth that Arnav is a Her Real Son born by Her Womb while Arvind's Infidelity Product was Still-born. When Truth came out in Open to Her She realized it's too Late as Her Relationship with Arnav was on Verge of breaking any moment.
She requested, begged, ordered and complained that Arnav should return back to Her after Apologizing but He refused to listen to any of it. She regretted a lot.
