Leaving Brooklyn

Nathalie's POV

ugh, I have to leave! Whyyyyyyyy?! My whole life is here! Ariana walks in the room while I pack my last few things. "Hey Chicka! You done packing?" She asked "yeah" I said as I closed my suit case "can you mail me the rest of my stuff in my room so I can put it up when I get there? I know I put it somewhere but I can't remember where." I said "actually, I already mailed it so that it will be there when you arrive! It was gonna be a surprise but... Not anymore I guess." Ariana responded "THANKS!" I said "Well, I'm really gonna miss you Nat." She said sadly "Oh stop being such a sap! I'll be back! Hopefully as soon as possible!" I said cheering her up "yeah! And if anyone is ever mean, I will personally fly over there and beat them up myself!" She said protectively. "Hey, I'll be FINE! You know that I can take on anyone who dares to stand up to the all mighty Nathalie!" I said, the last part in a Blinky like tone. 

"Anyways, i gotta go. Gotta say goodbye to all my friends!" I said "Ok, after you do that, me, Antony and Muffin (our dog) will meet you at the airport!" She said knowing full well that I could handle myself and get a taxi to drive me to the airport. She left my room and I put this outfit on.

I didn't even make an attempt to brush my hair and I grabbed my skateboard and ran out the door, knowing that Ari and Ant will probably take my stuff to the airport (Ari and Ant are there nicknames) I put down my skateboard and skated to my old high school. On the way, I did a few tricks and got a few 'Oooo's and 'aaaahh's. One person even gave m e a nickel! I skated down Palmetto street and arrived at Bushwick Community High School. When I walked up Cooper was waiting for me at the front gate. He ran up to me "YO NATHALIE!! It's your last day here so we decided to throw you a secret surprise party at school even though its a Sunday-" he cut himself off realizing what he just said "oh shit, I shouldn't have said that" he mumbled to himself. I was wondering why he told me to come here on a weekend. "It's fine, I'll act surprised you dummy!" I said punching him lightly in the shoulder. He laughed it off. We walked in to the gym when I saw a bunch of decorations like purple streamers mini cars were scattered everywhere , a sign that said my name on it, and a bowl of CHOCOLATES!!!! My friends all jumped out and yelled "SURPRISE" and I acted really surprised "OMG GUYS! This is AMAZING!!! You really didn't have to do this for me!" I said "well we thought since you're leaving soon, we would do something special for you." My friend Harper said while putting a party hat on my head over my other hat. I gave everyone a group hug and said "thanks guys!" "It was really no problem Nat, besides, I wanted a excuse to buy a bunch of chocolate!" John said while smiling ear to ear. We all called him Laurens because 1. His name 2. He kind of looks like Anthony Ramos (but if he never cut his hair) "of course you did Laurens." I said with a sly smile on my face "I BROUGHT THE PIZZA!!!!" MichaelAngelo yelled as he burst into the room startling everyone "Sorry we're late everyone" Leonardo apologized "We had to stop Mikey from eating every pizza in the shop." Donatello said. I honestly had a huge crush on Donnie but I would never tell him.

As I was about to leave, I Went up to Donnie and he looked sad "why do you have to leave? Why can't you just stay here with us? With me..." He whispered the last part (yes this is the ninja turtles as humans because why the hell not. They do live in New York) "I don't know. But I do know that I will be back ok?" He was very tall and he towered over me but looked me in the eye like he wanted to say something but wouldn't so I leaned up and kissed him on the cheek. He froze and turned bright red and kissed me on the lips when Cooper screamed "GET A ROOM!!!" And I ran out but slipped a paper in his hand that said 'I'll text you as soon as I get to Arcadia'.

After the party, I started skating around until I saw a taxi with the light on top lit up. "TAXI!!" I hailed, it pulled over to the side walk that I was standing at and I opened the door and sat down. "So, where you heading?" The driver asked "John F. Kennedy International Airport please." I said "ok" he said we started driving and I was just looking out the window and taking it all in for the last time, I was leaving New York and I knew that I probably wouldn't be back for years. I had had a vision about this several days before I was told I had to leave so I knew it was comming but that doesn't make it any less painful. 

We got there and the driver said "that'll be  8.50$" so I paid him plus a 20% tip and thanked him for the ride. I got out of the car and started looking for Ari & Ant when I found them they were with our German shepherd Muffin. He was much smaller than a normal German shepherd so he wasn't too much trouble to have in the apartment. When he saw me, he started wagging his tail and barking so Ari looked in the direction Muffin was looking and saw me. I ran over to them and petted Muffin. "Ok so here is your luggage, and your ticket." Ariana said while handing stuff to me "Do you know how to get to your gate?" Antony asked "yes." I responded "Your mom will be waiting for you when you get off the plane." He said "ok." I said "And remember, if you get lost, try to find an officer or something to help you find your way." Ari said while giving me one of the biggest bear hugs ever. "Ahh, stop mothering mee Ari!!" I said trying to escape "Oh come on, I've been mothering you for 10 years! I'm certainly not gonna stop now!" She said while taking off my hat, messing up my hair even more and then handing back the hat. I huffed and put it back on. We all group hugged and I said bye to everyone and entered to airport. 

I got in line to put my non carry-ons on the conveyor belt that puts them on the plane. When I was at the front of the line and had all my luggage that I didn't need for the plane put away, the lady asked me of I wanted to put my skateboard and I replied "nah I'm good, it'll be one of my carry ons." So I started making my way to customs, on my skateboard of course. 

Time squip to exiting the plane

I napped for the majority of the flight so it felt like 15 minutes I grabbed all my carry ons and exited the plane and started looking for my mom. She was holding up a big red sign that said "NATHALIE" on it and I suddenly got really embarrassed. I slowly walked over and said "hi mom" really quietly. She pulley me in for a huge hug screaming "MY bAbY!" And people were starting to stare at us but I didn't want to be rude so I just stood there and gave her a small pat on the back. 

Time skip to after we get in the car 

My mom had a silver range rover. It was really comfy inside so I just sat down and buckled in since she insisted on putting all my luggage in the car for me.As we drove by, I looked at everything as if it were alien, the buildings were so small, no yellow taxis, practically no graffiti?! We pulled up to a nice house and I thought 'this is gonna be my life now isn't it'.
