Chapter eight

Saiges POV

"You can't laugh... you have to stay still." Kenny tells me as I nod in response.

"Alright Charlie come stand here." Kenny tells him.

"Well now I'm gonna laugh. Look at him... how can you not laugh at that." I say as a laugh leaves my mouth.

"I don't know if I should be offended or flattered." Charlie replies playfully as he stands in front of me.

"You are gonna say your line then place your finger on her mouth and then pause because you have to change your clothes and then put your finger back on her lip." Kenny directs him.

"I'm finna laugh." I say as I look at Charlie.

"The more you laugh the more we have to do this." Kenny says playfully.

"Okay." I say as I take a deep breath and try and shake away my laughter.

My eyes land on Owen and Jermey watching from behind the camera.

"If you guys make me laugh I'm gonna kill you." I say as I point at them.

"Action!" Kenny yelled.

"Your not even ready why did I bother trying to help you." I say as I act mad at Charlie's character.

"Hey.... I'm always ready." Charlie replies playfully.

"What do you...." he interrupts me by placing his finger on my lips and shooshing me.

I stay as still as possible as our stage manager hands Charlie his clothes. My eyes were staring at Charlie due to me having to stay frozen. I watched as he took off his shirt causing my breath to get caught in my throat. Why was he so hot? He took his time almost making me laugh. He changed his pants and I felt like I should have looked away as he stood there only in his boxers but I had to keep my eyes forward. He finally was done changing and placed his finger back on my mouth.

"See." He says as he gestures to his outfit.

I scoff and roll my eyes.

"I didn't know you could do that." I mumble as I look him up and down.

"Cut! We will run it two more times, take five while we move the cameras but don't go far." Kenny tells us.

I walk over to Jermey and Owen.

"Nice job Saige. Although you got a little drool right there." Jermey says playfully causing me to shove his arm.

"I do not." I say sharply.

"What are we talking about?" Charlie asks as he wraps his arm around me.

"Just how Saige stared at you with your shirt off." Jermey says as he sends me a wink.

"I had to keep my eyes frozen." I say defensively.

"You didn't have to widen your eyes when you looked at him." Jermey says as he laughs.

I looked over at Owen and noticed he seemed a bit upset. His eyes were glued to the ground as he pretended he couldn't hear what Jermey was saying. Charlie released his arm from around me and grabbed his phone. I grabbed my phone and scrolled through the comments on me and Charlie's YouTube video. Everyone was asking if we were dating and saying they shipped us together. I look up at Owen, Jermey and Charlie.

"Stop whatever you are doing." I say as I laugh.

I look over and see Jermey and Charlie lifting Owen above their head.

"Don't drop him!" Kenny yelled.

"Have some faith in us..." Charlie replied.

Literally two seconds later Owen almost ate shit because Charlie almost dropped him.

"Oooooo..... lets do what those cheerleaders do .... we can do it with Saige!" Charlie says in an excited tone as he looks at me.

"I do not trust you guys to not drop me." I say sharply.

"There's three of us plus we are really strong." Charlie says as he tries to reassure me.

"Fine." I mumble.

"I'll be the person in the back." Charlie says as he stands behind me.

Owen and Jermey stand on either side of me.

"Do you guys even know what you are doing?" I ask them as I laugh.

"Not really but we are gonna push you up there." Charlie replies causing me to shake my head.

Charlie placed his hands on my waist causing butterflies to erupt in my stomach. I placed one of my feet in Owens hand and the other in Jeremy.

"1...2...3." Charlie counted.

They all pushed up and I tried to keep my legs locked. Charlie's hands remained on my waist as I stood up on Owen and Jeremys hands.

"Let's go baby!" Charlie yelled as they all starting screaming.

"She's so light." Owen says softly.

"Plus we are sooooo strong." Charlie says proudly.

"Do I even wanna know what I just walked into?" Madi says as she walks on set.

She takes a quick picture as she laughs at how weird we are. The boys all set me down gently on the ground but Charlie's hands remain on my waist. I turn around to look at him and he quickly removes his hands. I walk away from him as I feel his eyes on me.

"Saige what's your passcode!" Charlie yells as he taps on my phone.

"None of your business." I say as I grab my phone from him.

"I just wanted to play candy crush." Charlie says softly as he gives me puppy dog eyes.

"Fine..." I say as I type in my passcode and hand it to him.

"Oooo who's Jacob." Charlie says as he scrolls through my phone.

"You said you were playing candy crush?" I yell at him.

"I got distracted." He says innocently.

"He's my brother so..." I say causing Charlie to nod his head.

"Hey...why is owen number one on your best friends list?" Charlie asks with disappointment in his voice.

"Cause she likes me better!" Owen says as he gives me a high five.

"Owen snaps back so fast." I say as I laugh.

"No he doesn't." Jermey says softly.

"He doesn't snap me back like at all." Madi says as she agrees with Jermey.

"So he only snaps back Saige quickly." Charlie says as he raises his eyebrow at Owen.

"It doesn't mean anything." Owen mumbles as he looks over at me.

"Hey guys it's Charlie. I have Saiges phone but look at how fire her outfit is today." Charlie speaks into my phone and then points the camera at me.

"She's so pretty." He whispers into the phone.

"Charlieeeee." I mumble as I try and grab my phone away from him.

"Oh no she's chasing after me." Charlie says as he giggles and continues to avoid me from taking the phone from him.

"Charlie! Saige! We are gonna do the scene again!" Kenny yells.
