Y/N's POV

"Ughhhhh"

I rolled over and brought my hand down upon the alarm clock, making it fall off the table. I groggily sat up, wishing I could go back to sleep, but then I remembered:

I'M IN PAIRS!!!!

I jumped from my bed and rushed to the closet, pulling out the perfect first day outfit (you can change the color if you want). After I got dressed and fixed my hair, I bound down the stairs, my energy and excitement finally waking me up and saw Miss Sabine making breakfast.

"Good morning! How is the cake going?"

An exhausted but satisfied look was on her face.

"It was a late job, but we finished and have it all ready for the station. Could you please go get Marinette up? It seems like the five alarms she set didn't work out for her"

I smiled, "Sure!"

As I bound back up the stairs, I heard a very loud thud come from Marinette's room. Concerned, I ran to the door and knocked a few times.

"Hey, Marinette, you ok? Your mom wanted me to get you up, she's making breakfast"

I waited a couple seconds and got no response back. Finally, I opened the door to see her pop her head out from her closet.

"Hi! I tried to say something, but I guess you didn't hear me"

I nodded. "What was that sound?"

She tilted her head to the side, looking confused (maybe a bit too much).

"What do you mean?"

"I was walking up the stairs when I heard a really loud noise come from your room, it kind of sounded like you fell from something. You sure you're ok?"

She walked out from behind her changing station and nodded.

"Oh! Yeah, my clumsy self fell while putting my jeans on, heh"

I chuckled before she and I made our way downstairs.

"Morning mom!"

Miss Sabine set two plates of jam and crackers with orange juice in front of us.

"Good morning sleepyhead. You're lucky Y/N is here to wake you up when your alarms fail"

Marinette rolled her eyes but gave her mom a smile. Within a couple of minutes I had drank my whole glass of orange juice and was on my last bite of crackers and jam when me and Marinette's phones buzzed. It was a message from Alya!

Alya: I'm waiting out front! Hurry it up!

"Oh, shoot!"

Marinette shoved the rest of her breakfast into her mouth, then grabbed my forearm while dashing out the door.

"Bye mom, bye dad!"

"Goodbye you two, have a good first day!"

"Oh, wait! I almost forgot!" I dashed back up the stairs and grabbed my ukulele (in the case, of course) and ran back to find an impatient Marinette.

"Are you ready?"

I nodded and we walked to the front of the store when I spotted Alya and Nino talking. I waved as we neared them.
