Chapter 1

Jay's POV:
I'm going to pick up Hailey from the airport. I missed her very much. I realized I loved her and I wanted to show her that. Okay, look she's coming.
Hailey's POV:
I see Jay, he's waiting for me, I didn't think he'd be here. But I'm happy, I missed him a lot, even if I talked on the phone almost every day. I realized long ago that I love him, but does he feel the same way?
- Hey!
- Hey!
We held each other in our arms, but we quickly move away from each other because it seems strange.
Jay's POV:
When I saw Hailey, my world seemed to light up instantly.
- We go? I ask.
- Where?
- At a bar or something, let's celebrate you're back. You do not want?
- Yeah, I just didn't know where it was going. But we don't stay long, because we have to go to work tomorrow, says Hailey
- Agree!
Hailey's POV:
After I went to the bar, Jay drove me home (not by car). I told him about my first case at the FBI New York. About that girl abused by her boyfriend. He had a look I couldn't really decipher.
Vanessa was very surprised to see that Jay brought me home.
- So... Says Vanessa
-So what?
- Jay brought you home Doesn't that sound weird?
No, he picked me up from the airport, then I went to a bar and he took me home, what big deal?
- Nothing, I'm just saying...
I go to my room to unpack, but I stop and think about the conversation with Vanessa. Maybe it's really weird.
I don't finish unpacking everything and go to bed because I'm tired.

Jay's POV:
In the morning I wake up and hurry to the section, because we all talked to surprise Hailey when she comes to work. I have to go to the confectionery first to take the cake that says "Welcome back, Hailey."
Hailey's POV:
Okay, I wake up and yell at Vanessa. I don't get any answer, I go downstairs to see if she's there, I can't find her, but I see a note that says she had to go meet a CI.
I'm going to take a shower. I release the water. While water flows on my face I think of Jay. Some time passes, at some point I start to feel dizzy.
Jay's POV:
When I get to work, we were all waiting for Hailey, including Vanessa who had told her she was dating a CI to be here.
Half an hour passes, and Hailey still doesn't arrive, and she's never late. I call her, but she doesn't answer the phone. I'm starting to worry. I'm going to let Voight. He says we should locate his phone, see were is she.
"Hailey is still home," Kim says.
Hailey's POV:
I try to get out of the shower, but when I put the towel on me my eyes blur and I fall to the ground.
Jay's POV:
We don't even think about it and we go to Hailey's home. Am I afraid if something happened to her?
Strange when we want to enter the house, we realize it's closed. Vanessa opens the door and each is divided into different rooms to look for her. I go upstairs to look in every bedroom, but I can't find her. When I try to enter the bathroom I notice that it is closed, I kick and enter.
