There was no class on Saturday, it was a rare chance to be lazy in bed; so Aaradhya did not set her alarm so she could sleep longer.
When it was some time past 8 o'clock, Keerthi started waking her up; with the increased noise Aaradhya drowsily woke up. She looked at the clock showing 8:45,
"What yaar.., it's Saturday na why did you wake me up?"
"Arey sleepy head, wake up; today the weather is pleasant and sunny...let's go outing," Keerthi said.
The weather in Bangalore has become rather unusual these past few days with dark clouds smothering sky, accompanied by short spells of rainfall across the city.
Aaradhya looked out the window and saw the bright blue sky. She then got up from her bed and headed to the washroom. They decided to go to Cubbon Park which is 12km from their place.
The dormitory building was very quiet. As there was no class on weekends, most students were still sleeping. They walked downstairs and headed leisurely towards the cafeteria which is mostly unoccupied.
They went into the cafeteria and selected Idli sambar(A/n. Idli Sambar is a famous south Indian tiffin). After that, they decided to go by metro train which took 50 minutes while enjoying the sunny day.
This "Cubbon Park" is a landmark 'lungs' area of Bangalore city, it was located within the heart of the city in the Central Administrative Area. Be it in winter, summer, or autumn there were always a large number of people coming to this place.

Cubbon Park
Aaradhya had once visited this place when she was a kid, together with her family in her Summer vacation. As for her roommates, it was their first time visiting this.
They explore the statues in and around the park, enjoying a long stroll amidst the exotic and colourful flowers sending delicate fragrance in the surroundings.
Autumn is a great time to visit the park. The temperatures remain mild and breezy during this period and we can find more number of birdlife. They come across the migratory species at the waterside in Cubbon Park.
They were talking and laughing all along the way, until they arrived at the train ride. Ramya handed a ride ticket to each of them. (A/n. Ramya and Swetha are the other roommates of Aaradhya). The train ride would last for about an hour, they enjoyed the toy train ride while reliving their childhood days.
After that, they had planned to eat lunch at near restaurant. They completed their lunch while talking and laughing. They went to Central public library and then to the amusement park where they enjoyed boating in the lake.
"It's just three o'clock in the evening, where should we go next?" Keerthi asked walking out of the amusement park.
They all stopped and thought it over and,
"I ... would like to go to the marine world," said Aaradhya.
"Huh...?" All have a surprised look.
"I mean Aquarium" she laughs.
Then they visited the Cubbon park aquarium which is a wonderful mini-marine world. Cubbon park aquarium is an octagonal shaped three-storied building. Various species of fishes are housed in fresh water tanks. When they received the ticket and walked inside, Aaradhya forgets everything walking along the path, dragging her friends with her in excitement.
"Hey, look at these gold coloured fish, it was lovely and I want to bring one to the dormitory," Aaradhya said while hurriedly she takes out her phone to snap a picture.
Her friends shake their head at her craziness. They continued to watch and walk along the path, enjoying themselves. At the end they had to drag Aaradhya out of the aquarium.
At evening, they enjoyed the street food and went to the Indira Gandhi musical fountain, in which the water sprays 'dance' along with the music beats.
As they were nearing the exit of the park, the previously blue sky unexpectedly began to get layered by grey clouds. They quickly exit and ran, covering their heads as the drizzle had started to fall.
They quickly went to the nearest bus stop to get shelter from the rain. Fortunately, the rain was still small, so they weren't that wet. They wiped their face while Swetha began complaining,
"Didn't you say the weather would be nice today and there is no chance of rainfall?"
"Well, the weather forecast said it's going to be sunny today!" Keerthi mumbled.
While they were bantering with each other, Aaradhya silently stood there watching the falling droplets of rain. As it's raining, no cab is available on that road. So they waited for the city bus.
After a few minutes, Aaradhya felt like someone watching her she turned around to see no one there. She just shrugged it off as her imagination.
Then she heard someone called out to her. At first, she thought she heard it wrong. Then she heard a burst of "honk" horn sounds in front of her.
Aaradhya did not pay much attention to it and casually looked up; she was speechless as in front of her there is a familiar black Mercedes Benz....
