Forever Love

          As he said to Arjun, Abhinav went to his family bungalow on Saturday.

Abhinav rang the doorbell. His mother Radha opened the door seeing him she said angrily, "You even know to come back. Who asked you to come here as you don't have time to even phone your mother."

       Arjun heard sounds coming from the entrance, looked over and said, "Brother, you have come back...."

"I'm sorry ma," Abhinav said to his mother who's looking at him angrily.

"Radha, that's good enough." Abhinav heard his dad's voice coming from downstairs.

"At least let him come in before you scold him. Even if you scold all you want, in the end you are the only one that gets angry. If he doesn't come home,  you will get all angry by yourself."

Radha grunted then went to sit on the couch without talking with Abhinav.

      Abhinav went over and sat next to his mom and took her hands in his hands and called, "mom". She still didn't say anything.

Abhinav squatted down before his mother and held his ears with hands and said, " Mom, I'm sorry from now onwards I'll make sure to come home whenever I'm free and will call you regularly... Mom, please na..."

Radha smiled at his antics.

      "Finally, you smiled come now I'm hungry and I missed your food, " Abhinav said which earned a heartfelt laugh from his mother.

He spends his day with his family and headed back to his apartment in the evening. On his way back he saw a familiar silhouette at the bus stop who stood there silently enjoying the rain. He drove near to that person and stopped his car.

    "Professor... Abhinav..." Aaradhya was a bit surprised seeing him here.

"You all are going to the dormitory ah, then get in." Abhinav did not say much, he just pointed at his car and gestured for others to get in.

      Aaradhya was muddled up in her thoughts and just stood there and after a few seconds opened her mouth to say, "Ah, no need to bother you, professor, we will just take a cab back to the dormitory."

"Sending you back is on the way."

Before she can say anything, Keerthi said, "Thank you, professor."

Keerthi jostle Aaradhya towards the passenger seat and went to sit in the back seat with others.

     Abhinav opened the passenger door for her to get into the seat and then closed the door. After he was done he walked around to the driver side.

Aaradhya sat in the shotgun seat, her fingers had gotten quite stiff she was a little nervous. The car music system was playing soft songs...

          Aaradhya felt like the song playing in the car was literally telling her feelings to the person sat beside her. She decided to gaze out the window and watched as the pretty scenery quickly passed by while driving to their destination.

At first, she was chatting with her friends in the back seat, but after a while the conversation lagged so she had fallen asleep.

      When they reached the dormitory, Abhinav stopped the car for them to get down. He turns aside and saw that Aaradhya was still asleep in the passenger seat.

Aaradhya felt like someone calling her, she thought that she was at home in her drowsy state so said, "5 minutes Vadina." After a few seconds, she suddenly recalled that she fell asleep in the car.

      She quickly opened her eyes to meet with mesmerising eyes of Abhinav who is looking at her and was greeted with the blue buildings and realized that she was in the dormitory parking lot.

"Ah..., " she tried to speak, but her voice trembled, causing her cheeks to turn bright red out of embarrassment. She quickly straightened herself and tried again, "Thank you, professor."

      She said her farewell to professor Abhinav before she got down of the car. Before she closes the car door Abhinav called for her saying, "The moon is beautiful, " and before she could say anything he drove off from there.
