The Chosen Phoenix (PART 2)

Chapter 1- The Journey Begins ( Intro. )

' I found this rusty telescope! Maybe it'll come in handy! ' Jyn held out a century- old telescope for Ben to see.

' We aren't going on a mission to view birds, ' he said strictly, ' we are trying to get the Sword before Asuss does, our aim is to prevent him from taking control over Axel. '

' Wait... Axel's still alive? ' Jyn gasped. Ben nodded wisely. Jyn stood there stunned for a moment with a brief mutter of, ' How come I never knew that...? ' before dumping the telescope under her bed. As Ben stepped out of the cottage, Jyn waited for Leckeo to finish his meal. Jyn had made him eat ten times more than the usual she fed him because she wasn't going to bring any food on the journey.

' It's for your own good, Leck. ' Jyn stroked her pale- like faced fox, who looked as though he was just about to faint. Jyn sighed, ' You'll thank me later for making you wolf down food as much the food dinosaurs eat. '

The journey started off with waving the village goodbye as they cheered good luck, well... for Ben, but for Jyn... they didn't seem to care. Jyn didn't mind. She just wanted to see Axel and the Sword. 

The birds' chirps echoed around Elliot Forest as Ben and Jyn wandered through.

' I have always loved exploring this forest... ' Jyn sighed dreamily as she stepped over a tree's root. ' Nature has always been my thing, you know? '

Jyn picked up a branch with full care, Ben sighed and shook his head slowly, but that was before he realised that there was something tiny with a beautiful red pure colour coat that was black- dappled.

Ben smiled as both of them watched the ladybug fly away peacefully. Jyn smiled.

' Yeah, I guess nature is a wonderful thing. ' he sighed as he stepped up and put an arm around Jyn. They lowered their heads to watch the sunrise as the jet- black sky blended into dim orange, the sky looked like a sunset, for the sun was only halfway up. Ben opened the gate and for a reason, Jyn felt a sudden leap from her insides, she was beyond the boundary. Again.

The two travelled miles West until dusk fell. Jyn went to collect firewood, so the Stone on the Phoenix's Map had fused again. Jyn had named it so, for she knew Ben had said everything that Gunnar made, it was named with the word " phoenix ", so she thought she would name should include the word too if it's related to Gunnar and Axel.
