family: alexander is the eldest child of mila and paul lambert. he has two younger sisters, camille and eva.

childhood information: alexander didnt spend much time with his family. his parents would ship him and his sisters off to live with his strict roman-catholic grandparents in belgium; this is where he developed a complex relationship with the idea of God. alec as a child was molested by the priest who worked at their grandparents' church. this abuse went on from ages 8 to 15. this deeply impacted their formative years, alexander began to to question the existence of God. he thought that if God was real they [God] were not doing a good job taking care of the world and the humans on it, he decided if anyone was to take care of the world and bring it to prosperity it should be them. during these young teen years alec began self harm and starving himself, he had a goal to become a perfect human being, one others could model themselves after. with any natural human failures, alec punished himself immensely. it was at 14 he began to study the occult, he struggled with viewing himself as a sinner, although he had denounced the Christian God, they upheld many of the same values. they deemed the only way the world could be fixed, he would have to commit sins, he deemed selling his soul to darkness for human perfection and innocence to be of the utmost importance. this is what brought him to complete a ritual in which he became a vampire, and all it cost was a priest and a tongue.
