Perfection

Chapter 1

¨Next!¨ Before you know it, you're already picking your perfect person. As I walked up to the platform I thought of how exciting this was, my own perfect person. I had just turned sixteen, that was the age requirement for building your perfect person.

 I look up at the screen, ¨Child, Significant other, sibling, or Bestfriend?¨ A female robotic voice asked. ¨Bestfriend¨ I said instantly. Before coming here I had planned out everything so I wouldn't have to take too long.  ¨Male, Female, or other¨ the female robotic voice asked. I had thought about this one, to me it didn't matter what gender they were but the first gender that popped into my head was Male. ¨Male¨ I responded. ¨ What color eyes¨ the voice said, ¨Green¨ I answered. ¨What color skin¨ the voice asked, ¨ Random¨ I responded. 

Next up were the small details, face, attributes, traits hair, and other stuff like names and random things. ¨Your perfect person is ready¨ said the robotic female voice. I held my breath in anticipation, anxious for my results.

 And just like that he was there, exactly how I pictured him. ¨Hey Spencer¨He said in his rough but sweet voice ¨ I am Luke Wryner and I am your new bestfriend¨. I just about died, my best friend was amazing!!! ¨Hi Luke, I'm Spencer Storman¨ I said timidly, ¨I know who you are spencer¨ Luke responded. I could just tell by staring into Lukes's excited green eyes that this was going to be the best day ever.

I could not wait for my family and friends to meet Luke. I walked outside where my family, and my best friend Addie Mill, and her Perfect boyfriend Jake Randoph was standing. ¨Hey Spence, how did it go!?¨ My mother asked nervously, ¨Yeah, Spencer how did it go¨ Addie asked too. Jake, My dad, and my brother said nothing. 

They were the first ones to see Luke. My mom and Addie were next. ¨Wow, is he your boyfriend sweetie?¨ my mom asked. At the word boyfriend my father pursed his lips, my brother started gagging, and Addie starting jumping in excitement. Jake on the other hand stood still and smiled. Of course, Jake being a perfect person already knew about Luke. ¨Actually Luke is my best friend!¨ I said. My family and my best friend gawked at me. 

I was confused, I really did not expect that reaction from them. ¨What's wrong? Why are you all staring at me like that? ¨It is nothing dear, we are just happy for you¨ My mom said. Then we got in the car and drove back home in silence.
