The sound of the shoes squeaking inside the court is kind of annoying.

'how did i ended up here?'

~ earlier ~

"l/n-san, did you finish our homework on math already?" hanabi-san asked me while chewing on her waffle.

"yeah, my mom won't stop nagging to me if i procrastinate." i replied to her and took a sip off my milk.

"girl, watch out!"

The last thing I saw is a ball fastly coming over me and when I opened my eyes. A golden brown hues met mine.

"y/n nee-chan?" kei asked me with a smile on his face.

I scratched the back of my neck and looks away.

'he's too close hgnn.'

"y-yeah."

"you came back sooner!" he cheered.

I glanced at his outfit and it looks like he's going to a practice.

"where are you going?" i asked him.

"ah, volleyball practice." he replied.

"where's yamaguchi?" i asked him again as I stand up.

"I'm on my way to his house. Will you go with us?" he asked for my favor with sparkling eyes.

'super cuteness attack! How can i say no to that face?!'

"sure! Let's go!"

It's better if i can hold his hand like a child but nevermind, our height is the same. So unfair.

And that's how I ended up here.

It's been a few hours since I got here in his world but I'm still not coming back or waking up.

'what happened to me back there? Did I die?'

"y/n nee-chan!" kei called.

I glanced at them and they're dripping with sweat. I prepared the clean towels and gave it to them.

"thank you, nee-chan." they both said.

I just smiled and looked at them gleefully.

'how i wish i have brothers like them. But mom won't grant my favor because she told me that she's too old to have another child. Bummer.'

I saw Kei's cheeks blushed red, so cute.

'maybe he's tired from practice.'

I was surprised when I learned that they play volleyball since Kei doesn't look like the type to socialize, no offense. And Yamaguchi looks like a weak baby bird.

Well, life of full of surprises. Just being here is a big surprise, who am I to talk.

"is your practice done?" i ask.

They nod and neatly fixed their belongings.

'when will i go home? It'll be night time in no time.'

Kei seems like to notice my unusual fidgeting, he looks at me and asked,

"is there a problem, nee-chan?" he asked me worriedly.

"u-uh, I'm just getting worried. I was supposed to be back this time around." i told him.

The smile on his face became a frown. Why is he sad?

"you don't want to stay with me?" he ask.
