How To Be A Heart Breaker

The Plan

"Luc!" Maggie calls, leaving the cafeteria.
After much discussion her, Megan and Ciera came up with the perfect plan as to what to do about the new boy.
"Luc hey," she huffs, out of breathe from running through the hallway.
"Here to throw another soda in my face?" Luc says sarcastically.
"That's actually what I came to talk to you about," said Maggie. "I wanted to say that I'm sorry and I want to make it up to you."
"I'm listening," said Luc.
"It's your first day at school and Friday. There's this party tonight at my cousins Megan and Ciera's house and I want to know if you'll come with me," she proposes.
"Did Maggie Atcheson just ask me out on a date?" he asks, mocking shock.
"Not a date. Just my way of welcoming you to our school and apologizing for throwing coke at you."
"What time should I pick you up?"
"I'll give you my number and I can text you the details," Magz says.
Luc passes his phone to Maggie and she adds herself to his contacts making sure to add the kissy face emoji.
"Text ya later," Luc says winking.

This is going to be easier then I thought, Maggie said to herself in her head, smirking.
