" Somin I made a huge mistake , I want to take care of our kids , somin I'll be there for you "
" Past 9 months I was alone , they were without a father in my womb, I'm not letting a person like you to take them away "

"Somin , I said whatever I said that time because our career is at peak now , now even JSEPH isn't here , it's just the three of us , can we get over this now ? You know I love you and them, they're my babies too"

" Somin-ah "  somin's manager minji said

" Your interview starts in 10 mins, after the interview straight away get in the car , I need to take you somewhere " her manager said , not even showing any sorts of expression
Somin smiled not knowing what the future holds for her

"Well honestly I believe that , even though big companies have amazing clothes and everything, we still need to help out the small businesses , so I proudly support small businesses , in Korea and recently even in the USA and maybe world wide in the near future " she says and smiles politely
"As you mention USA it reminds me , why did you stay back in Korea while everyone of kard moved to the USA ?"
" Well back in 2020 , there was a big thing with kard's downfall, as sad it is , honestly we matured and learned to get back to our feet , jiwoo is an amazing model in USA now , then there is JSEPH with his estate business and Matthew with his clothing brand still going viral in 2028 " somin says and laughs

" So you and bm both had kids around the same time , and it was rumoured that the kids are your and BM's is that true ?any comments in that ?"

Hearing that made somin's heart skip a beat
" Hey hey no personal questions and controversial statements please " her manager spoke up as the interviewer apologized

The interview continued making somin anxious about everything really

" KARDs ... Manager.. umm he got in an accident last night , he's okay now , but last night doctor didn't think he could be saved , so I'm taking you to the hospital "
All somin did was breath heavily after hearing about it with her mouth wide open
" What ...ha-happened-?" She asked after a while
"He now works as someone's assistant and he went out for groceries or something and a car -"

She surely didn't want to see a man this lively in the hospital bed filled with bruises , but she still had to

"Oppa" she said as she ran towards him and holds his hand
"Ah .. somin-ah " their ex manager said with a smile that broke her
"The doctor said .. I'll be out in two weeks , can .. kard ... Have a reunion?" He asked making somin's breathing hitch
"I know it's hard for you to see Matthew, but ... What he did, he has his reasons , he was going craving for what you just received for years and that's the time you were pregnant , obviously it was scary for him and he .. he didn't...he didn't want to ruin that , but with the babies ...how would you manage the career so he thought it was best if ... Surely she hated that she now had to face Matthew , the person she curses but deep inside he's the only man she ever wanted to have kids for

She got home and sat with her son Min
" Eomma , I was listening to kard , I really like this song , you and this guy did " Min says as he holds his mother's hand
"Really? Which song ? "
"Its a duo.... You and the tall guy from your group did " somin smiles as she knows which song he is talking about , but soon fades as she realises that it's his father
" It's trust me " she says faking a smile to her son
"Right ! I love it "
She nods and pats his head
"Why did you guys stop making music " he asked
"It's time for bed Min! It's already 11 pm " she says as he nods and goes out to his room

Somin smiles at the memories of kard

She then took her phone out and opened the 8 year old dead group chat
