Amity and Luz were hanging out at the midnight time. There are stars in the cool smoky black sky. And the moon is out shining it's light down to the boiling isles. The sound of the night beings are scary but relaxing.
The newborn couple sat on the edge of a cliff staring at the beautiful scenery of the boiling isles. Luz was connecting the stars while Amity laughed at how adorable Luz was being.
"la noche es hermosa" Luz said turning to Amity.
Amity was confused about what Luz said since she didn't understand the other languages of the humans.
"Huh" she said and tilted her head.
"Oh sorry, Spanish- heh I said that the night is beautiful" Luz explained rubbing her neck nervously
"Your beautiful-uhooh heh sorry it just I was confused on what you said, cause you know I don't know spanosh" amity tried to say the word but fail too. And also fail on flirting.
"Hahaheh it's Spanish" luz laugh at amity attempt of saying the work.
" oh ohh Spanishh" Amity said again.
"Yes! Good job" She congratulated amity.
"Thanks, so I never got the chance to ask but what is spanish?, I know it's a human language but I heard that you humans have something called cultures" Amity asked Luz curious about her thing called culture.
"Oh in the human realm there are different languages as you know but cultures are like uhh how do i say this.... Oh! There like different nations of arts. I think that's how I say it. But there are other cultures but mine is the Hispanic culture". Luz explained to Amity.
Amity listened closely hearing every word that Luz said.
" in my culture it's very lively, there's great food and the dances are cool." Luz kept rambling on about her culture and Amity stared at her amazed. She learned about the holidays and the food that they have. She wishes that she could experience the festivals and celebrations.
"-i still remember a dance that I saw in a show with my mama, WAIT I can show it lemme just get my phone" luz rushed to get her phone and kept swiping until she found Spanish music.
Amity looked over her shoulder wondering what Luz was looking for.
"AHA FOUND I IT, come on Amity let me show you" She stood up and reached out her hand for Amity. Amity took her hand and got up.
Luz put on the music and sat her phone in the grass.
"Okay so follow my lead" luz grabbed her hand and started dancing. Amity tried her best to follow and learned quickly.
They dance the night away. Doing spins and twirls around the grass. Amity and Luz felt the wind go through their faces and listened to the beat of the song.
After a while of dancing they did the last move of the night. Luz dipped Amity and kissed her. Amity fell into the kiss.
It's was a romantic night to say at least
.............It was a dance to remember.
