Part 6, Byakuya kinda very sucks

After he was done exposing everyone Makoto went to go see Junko.
"Um, Junko? Did you switch my secret for a less embarrassing one?" Makoto asked.
"Yeah, I did, but don't ask me how I did it because I'm not gonna tell you. Thank me later, right now you have bigger problems to worry about." Junko pointed over where everyone was standing.

"What's going on, guys?" Makoto looked in shock at Toko Fukawa who was now in her other alter, Genocider Syo. When Monokuma revealed her secret, it was that she had Multiple Personality Disorder and her other personality was the serial killer Genocider Syo.

"Kyeeehahahahaha! Yes, this is the *true* me! I am Genocider Syo and Toko Fukawa is just a lame-ass girl who lives inside of me!" Then she looked at Byakuya.
"Oh? Who's this hottie? What's ya name? Ah, it doesn't matter to me actually. Well, I'll see you losers later byyyye!" Then she ran off to who knows where leaving everyone in shock. Makoto was still in a panic about his secret even though he knew nobody knew it, but it made him realize how much he actually loved Togami he was about to consider talking to him but he already left to go hang out with Celeste. Ever since 3 days ago, they've been hanging out together all day. Makoto made up his mind he would immediately go talk to Togami before Celestia had the chance, he was super pumped. Now he had to decide who he was gonna spend his time with. He chose Kyoko and they had a great time together, at least Kirigiri did.

Makoto woke up thinking about Togami and how much fun he was gonna have with him. He had a good time with him and all but it wasn't until the day after that when he went to see Byakuya when things got interesting.

"Makoto, be my secretary." Byakuya had said in such a calm manner. They had a bit more of a conversation, he explained all of the benefits of working for him. The money he would gain, the, um, actually that was the only reason Byakuya gave him. But Makoto wanted to do it for a different reason, to get closer to him, but he felt as if he couldn't accept the job. Something in him told him that he had to live a far life without Togami's help.
"It's not that I'm scared... It's that I want to succeed based on my own effort. I want to find my own battlefield... I don't want it handed to me—I want to earn it. I want to find something I'm willing to fight and die for. That's the only way I'll be satisfied." Makoto claimed.
"Hmm... I'm glad to see you passed my test."
"Huh? Your test?" Makoto questioned

"That's right. The mere thought of someone like you as my secretary makes me physically ill." Makoto was both happy to hear that and sad. He wanted Byakuya to at least appreciate him. Naegi went back a little sad, but he was going to try again the next day, and the day after that, and the day after that until he at least realizes how Makoto has feelings for him. He ended up trying for 10 days. Byakuya told him stories on how he came to be the head of the family, and in all, Makoto's feelings grew. Naegi even tried to kiss him a few times but it got really awkward for Togami. But, on the 11th day, he saw Celeste got to him first. When he went to check on him, he started to wonder Am I too much of a burden? Am I trying too hard? Has Togami-san gotten any of my hints? He kept doubting himself so he decided he would give Togami a break today. So, he went to the girl he always talked to when he was lonely. When Naegi got back he didn't realize how much he missed Byakuya until he got to the hallway where the students' rooms were located.

"Byakuya..." Makoto whispered. He thought nobody heard him but he was wrong.
