Opposites Attract, A Naegami Fic (COMPLETE)

Part 10, 🙅🏳️‍🌈no gay zone🙅🏳️‍🌈

“Hey, Fukawa. Hey Kirigiri. Whatcha doing out so late. It’s almost 10 p.m.” It was Makoto.
“Monokuma was about to tell us who slept with Master Byakuya.” Replied Syo.
“Okay. But how do you know he won’t lie to you?” Makoto wondered.
“Why would I lie to them? I have 0 reasons as long as they kill the person in question.” Nice play, Monokuma.
“You’re actually the main suspect. The motive matches, the evidence matches, and the opportunity matches. Even what you just said makes your case harder to defend” Kyoko stated, pushing Makoto into a corner.

“What do we have here? A bear, a serial killer, an emotionless human, and a boring-ass protagonist.” Explained Celeste, coming out of seemingly nowhere.
"If you’re trying to ask Monokuma who the Togami fucker is then my vote would go on Makoto. He was hanging out with Byakuya that very night. So my innocence has been granted to me.” She continued.
“But to be honest, I don’t actually want to ask Monokuma who the guilty person is. It feels like cheating in the eyes of a gambler. I’m guessing you’re going to murder Makoto if he’s figured out, but what good will that do? Togami would only hate you more than he already does. Tee-hee!” Then she walked away to who knows where. Makoto was definitely confused about why she had stuck up for him, but nonetheless. Grateful.

“Celeste has been acting weird all day. She lied about where both of you were and now she seemed pretty hostile to you. But I really don’t believe it’s her considering the evidence. Why would she lie for a pointless reason?” Kirigiri inquired Naegi. It was true  Celeste was acting weird but she’s Celeste so what do you expect? Naegi remembered that supposedly, Celeste left a note on his door. When he got there, there was a note.

If you ever talk to Togami again, I will kill you

He was totally shocked Celeste would leave such a note. He stared at it in fear of what would happen. She probably knew he slept with Byakuya, Celestia is not someone you mess around with and Naegi knew that. Should he tell Byakuya? What would Byakuya do to stop her?

The next day Makoto still didn’t decide what to do yet. Then he heard a knock on his door. Expecting it to be Sayaka, he opened it.
“Hello, Makoto. I just wanted to let you know that I saw the note Celeste put on your door before you did and I promise I won’t let anyone, not Toko, not Syo, not Sayaka, not Celeste hurt you.” Then Byakuya left a kiss on Makoto’s forehead.
“Would you like to walk with me to go to breakfast? Or do you not want anyone to see us together holding hands?”
“I-I’ll walk with you if you want. But we’re technically not dating so I don’t really know if we should hold hands.” Makoto lied. He didn’t care if they were dating or not. He just didn’t want anyone to see them acting like a couple. It wasn’t like he didn’t want anyone to know about their relationship, but he was afraid of losing his friends. Sayaka clearly had a crush on him, he had a fair relationship with Toko, and he was super afraid of Kyoko judging him.
“As sad as it is, I don’t believe we can ever be a real couple even if we do decide to date. Like I said about my past, I’m not allowed to be married, especially to men. I can only produce babies for only one of them to become the head of the Togami family.” Byakuya repeated.
“You said you’re the head of the family so why can’t you change it?”

“As long as my father is still alive and well, he would kick me out of the house if I tried to change the family tradition. And that would be being nice.” Makoto felt a little sorry for Byakuya. He had to follow all of these strict rules, Makoto realized how lucky he was.
“Well… your dad isn’t here right now so how about until we get out, we can be a couple,” Makoto suggested. 
“I like that idea.”
“Yaaaaaay!” Then Makoto hugged Byakuya and they kissed. Makoto is the clingy type so he was holding Byakuya’s arm until they got to the lunchroom where they got a few weird glares, then he felt really embarrassed and let go, trying to distance himself from Togami.

“Wait a sec. Was Naegi-kun the one who slept with Togami?”

“No that can’t be right!”

“What is the meaning of this?!”

“...”

“Byakuya’s gay?”

“Wait you guys didn’t know?”

“I’m disappointed in both of you.”

“Good job guys!”

“Ew.”

Byakuya couldn’t take it anymore, people insulting their relationship was unacceptable.
“Yes, it is true that I love Makoto, but it is not true that I had sex with him, Monokuma was lying about that part. there’s nothing you can do about it! I and Makoto are dating and that’s that! Now if you would excuse us we’re going to eat our food in peace without any crowds gathering at the table.”
“Wow, Byakuya. That was very brave of you.”
“That? That was nothing at all. I didn’t want anyone questioning us when they already have all the answers. They just need to look harder.” Byakuya stated.

“Togami. I have one thing to ask you. HOW COULD YOU SLEEP WITH MAKOTO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Celeste screamed at the top of her lungs.
“I told you already! We didn’t sleep together! I mean we did but not in *that* way” Togami roared.
“I’M GOING TO KILL BOTH OF YOU NOW! I WAS THE ONE WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO SLEEP WITH TOGAMI! I WAS THE ONE WHO WOULD RULE THE WORLD WITH HIM! NOT THIS BORING-ASS PROTAG! I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE PROTAGONIST!”
Then it all made sense Kirigiri. Why she had lied about where she was and why she made sure Monokuma didn’t tell anyone who slept with Togami. She wanted everyone to think she was suspicious by acting obviously suspicious. But she never expected Togami would just blatantly go out and say he was with Naegi.

“H-hey! I’m a-also mad at them too. Don’t make yourself l-look like the innocent one. Also, I c-can’t see why you’d be surprised. You suspected him y-yesterday.” Toko chimed in, on the brink of crying. Then Byakuya slapped both of them.
“No one will be killed at all. If that is Makoto’s wish, I will be there to help him. Now I will let everyone know, For the sake of Makoto’s protection, and my love for him. I will be handcuffing us together.
