Primo.
Fireworks filled the night sky, the new years was upon the large manor that sat secluded in the woods, coveted by evil doers.
A pair of heels click-clacked through the manors darkened halls, the manors guests and affiliates gathered in the grand hall, enjoying the evening mood.
The heels stopped in-front of a large pine door, the toe of the heels tapped hesitantly before a hand rose and knocked on the door.
"Come in." A voice resonated from inside the room, it was smooth, dark chocolate comes to mind.
The heels pushed open the door and stepped in, peeping round and into the dimly lit room. The colourful glow of the exteriors fireworks lit the now clearly seen office.
The office was of use to the man that stood at the large, looming window, looking out upon the outside, as if he had never seen such a view.
"Gabriella, you seem to be worried, you didn't get into trouble again?" The man turned to show handsome and sharp amber eyes.
Gabriella Russo, the woman in question, sighed at his remark. "Giotto. Who do you think I am?" She retorted with an annoyed smile.
The man, Giotto, stifled a laugh at her remark, she knew herself that he was right. The amount of trouble she gets herself into is immense.
"Yes, I possibly did get into trouble. But t-that is not my reason for my visit, tonight, at- such a late hour..." Gabriella hid her reddened face and Giotto smiled at her gaurded demeanour.
Giotto sat on the arm of the armchair Gabriella was situated on, he brushed a hand against her cheek and leaned down but Gabriella avoided his attempt at romance and stood up.
Her long evening dress, swaying upon her rising upwards. "U-Um, Giotto, I didn't mean to come off like that, but-" Giotto threw himself up and grabbed her hands.
"What's wrong, Gabriella?" The golden ring on her left hand glowed and reflected the fireworks as she tensed at his soft words.
"I- I-" Gabriella removed her hands from his and draped her hand over the ring before shaking off her fear, slowly and hesitantly, she removed the ring, to Giotto's surprise.
"What are you doing?" He asked, his voice dripping with worry. Gabriella couldn't stop the tears that now fell.
"I can't be with you. Not anymore." - "I need to go, my Mother, you know her, probably downed atleast 10 bottles of wine." Gabriella chuckled but quickly choked it away.
Giotto couldn't laugh. He turned away and stepped towards the window. Watching the world once again, now through glazed eyes.
"Goodbye, Giotto." Gabriella left, shutting the large pine door behind her and shaking away the tears, cleanching her fist where the ring sat.
She began to walk away only to see a small green haired baby standing in the corridor before her.
"You made a good choice." It spoke, "He shouldn't know of your decision." It finished.
"You said being strong would be easy, that- that wasn't easy." Gabriella said, anoyed at the baby's words.
"Yes it is as I said, this part doesn't make you stronger, only removes locked parts of your brain, making it easier for me to make you stronger. Per se." It, the baby, retorted with a pleased smile.
Gabriella huffed and walked past the baby, continuing her way away from her past lover, she wanted to be stronger.
And stronger she shall.

.You threw yourself up, your darkened room lit by the large, full moon that sat, longingly outside your window.
A small silver ring sat on your bedside table, your face quirked before exhaustion came over you and you lay back down. Asleep again.
