~Time Skip~Morning~

~JUNGKOOK POV~

I woke up after my, long, peaceful night of sleep. Wow, this was the best sleep I had in months. Still adjusting to the brightness, I rubbed my eyes whilst stretching my stiff body. After a minute or so, I finally realised I was in my office. Ugh! Which means I slept here last night. I turned to my desk and found a stack of paperwork, hmm, must be from Tae Ra. As I got out from my desk, a blanket slid of me onto the ground. Huh? Wait...did she do this? Pfft, impossible. Oh, I should check the CCTV cams.

WAIT SO SHE DID? WHY IS SHE SO CLOSE TO MY FACE?! SHE TOUCHED MY HAIR. WHY IS SHE STARING?! WHY AM I FREAKING OUT?!?! WHY ARE MY CHEEKS RED BURNING?!?! YAH! TAE RA, WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MY POOR HEART?!... I wonder if she got home safely.

Why do I care? Am I falling for her? Eww no, not that witch. Shoot! It's already 6 am, I should go to my house real quick.

~TAE RA'S POV~

*CRING~CRING~*

SHUT UP U ANNOYING BRAT!! I yelled on the top of my lungs, trying to silence this horrific noise.  But, to my bad luck, it kept crying. I sat back up on my bed, clearly not in a good mood. Checking the time, I realised it is already 6. I dragged myself out of my bed and went to my bathroom to get ready for the day. After my daily morning routine, I changed to my work clothes and went downstairs to make breakfast. Hmm...I want pancakes~

I made my pancakes and ate enjoying each bite. I am so good at making pancakes, ah~ I should work at Jin Oppa's cafe. I could make a huge profit. As I was pretty early this morning, I went to Hope's Orphanage. It is run by Hobi Oppa and his company. The kids there are all so lovely. When I was little, my grandmother, always took me there to play with other kids my age, especially since my brother didn't have much time to pay attention to me once he got into his senior years. My mum's elder sister runs the orphanage whilst Hobi Oppa is the actual owner and investor. Although I never really go there much as I used to back then, since grandmother is in Daegu now, it's a place you'll never get bored of. The orphanage was a place where I would calm myself down when I am, sad, stressed or just looking for a place to go if I am alone and have nothing to do. The kids remind me of little me, always troubling the adults, they genuinely make me happy.

Once I reached the Orphanage, I went inside, greeted by all the employees. "How are you Tae Ra dear? It has been a long time since we met. All the kids missed you" said my auntie, giving me a long tight hug. "I missed all you guys too. I've just been busy lately with my first job, but I will come more often now." I replied hugging her back tightly. "NOONA!!! UNNIE!!!" I hear little screams from the children. Letting go of the hug, I ran to them smiling, excited to see them once again. "Noona!~ It has been soo long~" The little boy whined as he jumped on me, hugging me tightly, almost suffocating me. "Aww~ I missed you too Minho. "What about us Noona/Unnie, you don't miss us?" The rest of them pouted. I shook my head laughing. "I missed each and every single one of you" I replied giving each of them a little peck on their chubby cheeks. "You look so beautiful Unnie~" Yuna praised me. "You look adorable and cute as well Yuna baby~," I said smiling at her. "Let's PLAY!!" They all yelled while dragging me to their playroom. Altogether, there are about 50 kids at this orphanage. I honestly feel pretty bad for them, if I could, I would adopt them all as each and every one of them deserves a good home and family. Some of their parents thought their child was a mistake, some couldn't afford to raise them, some of the single mothers gave up, some of their parents died, and they all were brought here and taken care of by the staff. I am thankful for Hobi Oppa since he made this Orphanage. Hana and I love kids and would always come to visit whenever we can, just to play with them.

It has been an hour and I am starting to get late for work. I don't want to get into trouble again. "Unnie~DON'T GOOO~" The cute babies cried, whining. "Aww~ Don't cry my babies~ I promise to come here again on Saturday. And we can play the whole day, plus I'll bring you all presents okay?" After I made a deal with them, they finally let me go. "OKAY~ BYE NOONA/UNNIE~ COME AGAIN SOON~ WE LUB U~~" They said and I gave them all one last group hug. 

It was already 7:56 by the time I entered my office, Phew. Just in time too. "Ms Kim, My office now!" I set my things down on my desk and went to his office slightly rolling my eyes. My day has just started and I have to see his face straight away. Lucky me. I rolled my eyes. "What do you want sir?" I asked standing in front of him. "You came here last night didn't you?" He asked me looking at me with a cold straight face. "I-um Yes sir, I came here last night to hand in my completed work" I said avoiding his gaze. "Then..." "Then I saw you sleeping so I left carefully left without waking you up." I said. "Hmm, what about the blanket", he asked pointing to the blanket which was still on his chair, still staring through my soul. "Well, I, Y-you were shaking from the s-so I found the blanket lying on the c-couch, so I p-placed it over y-you so you won't get cold." I explained avoiding his gaze. "So...you care about me?" He sneered slowly walking towards me with a playful smirk. "I-I well, I am n-not that heartless s-sir" I mumbled stepping back as he kept creeping towards me, clearly making me nervous by his towering height. 

I slightly flinched as my back hit the wall. "W-what are y-you d-doing?" I spat out gulping the huge lump in my throat. He kept leaning in closer with that same smirk as my breathing hitched.  "My coffee" he whispered in my sensitive ears. With a deep chuckle, he straightened himself up, keeping the distance maintaining his normal, cold face. Finally processing his order, I bowed and ran out of the room still shocked by his behaviour. 

Ahhhh~ my heartue~

I was still thinking about the incident that occurred in his office a few minutes ago and I can't stop blushing. Aish~ Stop and focus Kim Tae Ra~ I shook my head. As I was too busy in my own world, I didn't realise that another worker was there glaring at me; It was Areum, Lee Areum.

"What are you doing here bish?" She snickered which brought me back to reality. "Can't you see, I'm making a cup of coffee" I rolled my eyes. 

Since I wasn't paying much attention to her and continued making the coffee, she "accidentally" pushed me making me pour the hot water on my hand instead. "AAAH~" I yelped in pain and ran to the nearest sink to run it under some cold water. 'God! OW~ that hurts' I cried internally. Having sensitive skin, my skin instantly became red and being an overdramatic queen, some tears rolled down my. 

"Ooops~" she giggled before walking away. Why does everyone hate me so much? Why am I living in this darkness? Why? WHY?!
