You woke up early today and went to the great hall, You couldn't sleep well last night because quidditch tryouts were today and you were really nervous, It's not like you suck at quidditch or anything you're actually pretty good at it but you were just nervous for some reason.Suddenly you remembered..you were gonna tutor cedric today! oh no you had totally forgotten about it.
"Um hello? Y/n!!"
You looked up and saw kyle waving his hand infront your face.
"Oh sorry I was spacing out.." You said while trying to focus.
"I see, what are you thinking about?" Kyle said with slight smirk on his face.
"I...um quidditch yeah.." You said.
"Hmmm okay" kyle said not believing you but he ignored it anyways.
"this is gonna be an interesting day" you thought to yourself.
You started eating your breakfast while kyle was talking to you but you weren't listening, all you could think about was how your tryouts will go and...teaching cedric.
"Thank you for paying attention to me y/n, I totally appreciate it" Kyle said sarcastically.
"Sorry I just have alot of things on my mind right now" You said after realising you were spacing out again.
"Yeah alot of things..." Kyle mumbled before letting out a small laugh.
"Do you think I'm stupid y/n?" he said.
"Well I mean..." You whispered.
"You're thinking about someone aren't you? A boy!" He raised his voice.
"W-What?! No!! Also shut up people can hear you!!" You said clearly embarrassed and angry.
"Oooo y/n has a crush! Who is it? omg is it me? wait no...AARON??"
"I swear to god if you don't shut up kyle I will literally avada kedavra you RIGHT NOW" You said with a serious face.
He just sat there and laughed hysterically.
"pathetic!" You said and left the great hall.

It's now tryouts time ;)
You took a deep breathe and walked to the quidditch court.
You saw the captain marcus flint standing and infront of him lots of people were standing. You went over and stood with them, flint saw you and gave you wink.
"Ew" you thought, he was always so flirty for some reason. You just ignored him and looked at the bleachers there were a few people sitting you couldn't see who tho.

Tryouts had just ended you did a great job and gave it your best.Fint was talking with his fellow Chasers Graham Montague and Cassius Warrington they were probably deciding who will be the third chaser.
"Please be me please be me" you said under your breathe hoping you would make it.
Flint walked over to you.
"Congrats y/n You'll be one of our chasers" He said.
"Thank you" You said happily, you were so relieved.
You were walking out when you saw your friends running towards you.
"Did you make it??" Madison asked.
You looked at her trying not to smile.
"come on tell us y/n!!!" Kyle said.
"Well um..." You were trying your best to look sad.
...
"I made it!" you suddenly said and started laughing, then you all hugged each other.
~ You went to your dorm took a shower and sat on your bed.
"How am I supposed to meet cedric now?" You thought.
You took out a letter and wrote:
"Meet me infront of the slytherin common room"
You gave it to your owl (o/n:owl name)
"Uh give it to cedric?" You said to o/n.
Your owl looked at you then flew away.
You wore a green sweater and a pair of black jeans, you went out and waited infront of the common room.
It didn't take long for you to notice cedric walking towards you.
"Hi y/n!" He said.
"Hey.." you were really nervous about this so you didn't say much.
"So um where do yoy want to study?" He asked with a small smile.
"I don't know" you said.
"Well maybe the great hall?" He suggested.
You were about to say yes then you remembered
"Huh no not the great hall there are people there and I don't want to be seen with you" You said, if a slytherin saw you with a hufflepuff it would be the end of you.
"Oh..." Said cedric.
"Well we can go to the astronomy tower.." You said.
It was your favourite place to study at or just chill.
"Sounds great" cedric said and you two started walking. It was kinda awkward since you didn't know what to say.
"By the way y/n how did the tryouts go? Did you make it?" Cedric said.
"They were fine and yes I did"
"Great, I look forward to playing you this year"
Wait what?
"You play quidditch?" You knew nothing about cedric.
"Yeah I'm a seeker and the captain too"
"Nice.."
~ You two sat at the astronomy tower and you took out your potions book and started explaining to him the basics that you had this year.
He would look at you from time to time and stare but you just looked away.
"Okay so I think that's it for today" You said.
"Uh is there something you couldn't understand?" You asked.
"No I understood everything y/n, You're really great at this!" He said.
"I...um yeah thank you" You said with a small blush on your cheeks.
Suddenly you took out your notes and gave it to him.
"Here, you can copy them they'll help"
"Thanks y/n!" He said while taking the notes from you.
Your hands touched oop.
At this point you were embarrassed and just wanted to leave.
