"Ray! [Y/N]!" Emma cried, taking a step back.
Ray took a step forward. "It's probably not even true."
"What..?" Emma said, raising an eyebrow.
"About the dangers." Ray said flatly.
"Really?" Norman said, "What makes you think so?"
Ray sighed as [Y/N] approached Ray's side.
"Well, for starters, just look at it." Ray pointed out., "The fence is low, and there's nothing dangerous."
"Even so, we should do what Mom told us." Emma countered.
"Ugh, you really love her, don't you?" Ray said, scoffing.
"Hey Ray! Everybody does." [Y/N] said.
Ray glanced over at [Y/N], looking like he was about to say something but hesitated. "Look--" Ray started.
"HEY GUYS!" Don's voice called out, "ARE YOU EVEN PLAYING?!".
Don and a few other kids ran up behind them. "What are you guys doing back here?".
"Oh, is the game over already?" [Y/N] asked quietly.
"Mhm, we should go back." Don said., "She'll worry about us if we're late."
Don glanced at the fence and sighed, "Someday, we'll have to leave this place, huh?"
"Mhm. Before or after we're 12." A kid said.
"You know what's weird?" A girl, called Gilda, said., "Is that we never get letters from anyone even if we ask them to write to us."
"Letters?" Emma wondered aloud.
"You know, no one ever writes to us when they get adopted!" Gilda said, slightly pouting.
"Huh. I suppose they're just being considerate of their foster parents." Norman reasoned.
"But still! We've been together since we were born, why not write to us?!" Don countered to Norman's reason.
Norman glanced at the ground, probably thinking of a reason they wouldn't write to us.
Gilda crossed her arms. "Maybe, the outside world is so fun, they've forgotten about us!" Gilda pouted.
"Well, in that case, let's be happy for them!" Emma said happily.
"Yea! They probably have lots of fun everyday!" [Y/N] added.
Ray glanced between them, with a knowing and hurt look.
"Something wrong Ra--" [Y/N] started, interrupted by Gilda's pout.
"AWW! I want to go outside too!" Gilda cried out.
"And what would you do out there?" A kid asked.
"Isn't it obvious?" Gilda said knowingly, as if the others knew.
Everyone looked at each other and shrugged.
"Get new clothes!" Gilda said, putting her hands on her hips.
"Ugh, not this again.." Don said, turning away.
"Oh, Come on!" Gilda pouted.
"I read a book one time that said the world has 100's of designs and patterns, and I want to wear them all!" Gilda gushed.
Each kid started talking about what they'd do when they went to the outside world. Phil, a young kid, watched everyone in awe.
[Y/N] glanced over at Phil. "Hm.. I want to see a train!" Phil cried out excitedly.
