"J- join forces..?" [Y/N] was surprised by Krone's sudden offering.

Norman narrowed his eyes as a smirk was plastered onto his face, "It's fine guys."

[Y/N] tilted her head at Norman in confusion.

"We'll listen to your offer." Norman continued.

Krone raised in eyebrow in slight shock and then smiled, "Great! It's best if we work together. We all can achieve our goals now."

Gilda hid behind Emma and looked as if she was about to speak but decided not to.

Krone pointed at them, "You all want to get out."

Krone pointed at herself, "And I want to be Mom of this plantation."

Krone took a step toward them and lowered her voice to a whisper, "The plan is to get Isabella fired and I will seize that position for myself."

"Hm.." Krone muttered, "Are you aware of the management system here?"

[Y/N] and the others shook their heads.

"Girls who are 12 and fulfill the requirements to be Mom are presented with two paths before being shipped out." Sister Krone explained, "They can choose to become a Mom or die."

The group was silent for a bit.

"What.. are the requirements..?" Emma asked.

"The requirements to become Mom is to have high test scores and to have Mom recommend you to become one." Krone responded, "If you reach these two requirements, you can survive without escaping."

Krone paused for a moment, as if to hide the despair in her face, "If you're a girl."

"If you're a girl.." [Y/N] repeated quietly.

Krone sighed, "But I really don't recommend it. They make it so you're never allowed to leave the premises."

Sister Krone pulled away the collar of her dress, revealing a horrifyingly large scar.

"What.. what is that..?" Emma asked.

"They put a chip inside of you." Krone explained, "If you step even just one foot off the farm, an electric current will be sent through this and their heart will stop."

Everyone's eyes widened.

"But, if your heart stops working for some reason, it'll act as a transmitter that notifies the high-ups." Krone went on.

Norman narrowed his eyes, "So, we couldn't kill the adults after all."

Krone smiled, "Mhm. And.. since I can only live on the farm, I want to live the best possible life here."

[Y/N] heard Emma lightly scoff and turned to face her. Emma was glaring right behind Krone's back with disgust.

Classic Emma.. but I must admit, Krone is pretty selfish. [Y/N] spoke to herself.

"Even if it's fake, being a Mom means you can feel human." Krone said, turning back around to face them, "But to do that, I need Isabella gone."

As [Y/N] turned to face Emma her face had changed from fury to annoyance and disgust.

"If you all escape, she'll be blamed. Trust me. I won't stop you from escaping, if you do, it just benefits me." Krone said.

"You.. won't ship us out?" [Y/N] asked.

"Of course not!" Krone yelled quietly, "So.. let's cooperate!"

The group looked at each other, exchanging messages through their facial expressions.

At last, everyone looked at Norman for the decision. Norman smiled and nodded.

Krone smiled.

6:30 PM

Norman, Emma, [Y/N], Ray, Don, and Gilda took a seat in the library to discuss the plan.

"Even though she was one of us she doesn't care. As long as she can have a better life.. she's a monster." Emma cried out.

"She said she won't ship us though." Gilda countered.

[Y/N] sighed, "She didn't mean she won't ship us. She meant she can't."

Norman nodded, "If she really wanted us to escape, she can just assist us quietly when the time is right. The only reason she's showing us her cards is to gain our trust."

"But, what's the point in doing that?" Don asked.

"To get solid evidence we're trying to escape." [Y/N] replied, "Unlike Mom, she doesn't have the authority to ship us out."

As Don and Emma asked more questions, [Y/N] stared at the window. Well, not really the window, more like.. staring at the person staring out of the window.

"What if they find the rope in the tree?" Don asked, his voice a little more nervous that usual.

"We can easily explain the rope, we can say we were just going to use it for a game." Norman reassured Don., "But if--"

"If she finds the device to break the trackers, we're done for." Ray interrupted flatly.

[Y/N] slightly nodded in agreement

The group was silent for awhile until Gilda spoke up, "You're.. really going to her room?"

"Yes." Norman responded.

"But.. this is Sister Krone were talking about!" Gilda pleaded, "She's dangerous!"

Don turned his head to look at Norman, "What advantage is there to joining forces with Sister Krone?"

"If we play our cards right, Krone can be useful and we can get information out of her." Norman said.

[Y/N] glanced at the clock, "Dinner is starting."

Everyone else glanced at the clock and made their way toward the door. As everyone left, [Y/N] heard a creak, "Hm?"

She watched Sister Krone leaving her room with an extremely nervous face, Mother Isabella trailing behind her with a smile.

Huh, I wonder what that's all about.. [Y/N] said to herself as she walked down the stairs.

[Y/N] sat down between Ray and Emma, she was starving. As she picked up her spoon and dipped it into the soup bowl, Emma immediately launched back into the escape plan. [Y/N] sighed and listened, mostly focusing on her meal.

"Uh, Emma.. we can talk about this later you know." [Y/N] whispered shouted.

"We've got to get this plan done as soon as possible." Emma huffed.

[Y/N] gestured her head left and right, reminding Emma they were surrounded by people.

Emma nodded, "But Mom and Sister Krone aren't here."

"Wait what?" [Y/N] looked around the room.

"Hm, yeah." Ray confirmed what Emma said quietly, "But we're still surrounded by people Emma."

Emma sighed. [Y/N] knew that Emma wanted to save everyone even more than she did, she was just that kind of person.

[Y/N] and Emma's head perked up, "Did you hear that?" They asked each other in unison.

Norman and Ray looked at them, "What is it?" Norman asked.

Far-away screaming.

It lasted for only a second or two before ceasing.

Ray and Norman's eyes widened.
