                                                                                  - Rabbits POV-

Rabbit would shrink down in GoatCrys gasp as they entered the hollow in the moor where the group made camp. The briar dens and bushes dug out under them were obvious to see it was where they all slept. Cats would come out to see the commotion which would cause the skinny kit to shrink further into the chest of the she cat. The murmurs and looks were enough to make him want to cry out in terror. A small gray tom would run over and look over him with his bright green eyes.

"He is lucky to be alive, bring him to my den." The tom sounded concerned as he rushed into one of the dens and GoatCry followed. It was odd and confusing for him to hear the concern this stranger had for him. The she cat would set him down in a nice comfy moss nest in the den; It was enough alone to make him want to sleep. With his eyes looking towards the two he would listen in to their conversation.

"We found him on our patrol, the kit smells like he lived off of crowfood." GoatCry would speak to the smaller gray tom. the she cats blue eyes would look to him with concern. The tom would nod and begin sniffing over him which caused him to puff up and glare.

"Easy little one, LarkWing is here to help you I promise," GoatCry spoke sitting next to me. He would look to her and nod softly letting the tom cat sniff over him.

"You have a nasty infection there little one. Can you tell us what happend to you and where your parents were?" LarkWing would speak causing him to let out a silent whimper and shake his head sadly.

"Can you speak at all?" GoatCry would ask him as she wrapped her tail around him. Rabbit would shake his head in a no and point to the nasty wound with his tail. The tom he now knew was LarkWing would look to him with pity. He would then go over and chew up some strange looks leaves together before he applied the pulp to his neck wound. The slight burning was nothing compared to the relief it gave him. He would visabily relax as LarkWing would slide over half a black seed and some weird looking wood.

"Lap up the poppyseed" He spoke gently and gestured to the seed. Rabbit would follow  suit and lap up the seed and chew on the wood. LarkWing would nod in a approving manor and sit down as Rabbit himself curled up, suddenly too tired to care. Rabbit would allow sleep to come as he listened to the two cats discuss him.

Rabbit would wake up to an empty den, his stomach suddenly growling he would peak out around the den to spot the group of cats all clustered under a boulder with one cat sitting on top of it. He would listen in nervously

"LarkWing has looked over this kit and he needs great help. Without our help this kit will not make it and as clan leader I say we take him in." The light gray tom spoke standing tall and proud.

The clan would mutter and look at one another. "Another mouth to feed!" "A rogue none the less!" Was a few words Rabbit could make out. With a lash of the leaders tail the clan went silent.

"The warrior code tells us to treat ALL kits with respect. This kit deserves to live!" The leader yelled and the clan would yell in agreement. Soon LarkWing would pad over and gesture for him to follow. Rabbit would nod and stay close to the small tom he has learned to trust as he was lead over to the group. Rabbit was sat in a small opening of the group with the clan around him. Soon the leader would jump down to face him causing him to flinch back. "There is no need to be afraid little one, we will treat you as our own." The leaders tone was genuine as he spoke which caused him to relax a bit.

"Are you sure PondStar?" A orange and white she cat spoke as she padded next to the cat he now knew as PondStar.

"I am GingerFoot,  he will do great and grow strong with help." PondStar spoke with a soft smile. "Little one; LarkWing has told me you can no longer speak due to your injury is that correct?" Rabbit would nod sadly and lay his ears back. "That is fine, you dont need a voice to live a life amoung us." PondStars words would soothe him and cause his ears to perk back up. Looking around for the first time the kit would spot a prey pile, a rabbit would stand out. Rabbit would point over to it with his tail then to himself.

"You are hungry?" GingerFoot asked confused. Rabbit would shake his head and gesture to the rabbit and to himself again.  A light gray dappled she cat would step forward two kits watching her in the back.

"I believe he means that is his name." The she cat spoke and he would nod and smile looking back to PondStar. The leaders eyes seemed to open in udnerstanding.

"LilySwarm I believe you are right." He would smile and leap back up on the rock. "This kit will be treated as our own. His name now known to us he will be known as RabbitKit among our clan; of course if this is what you want Rabbit." PondStar would look to him with his water blue eyes.

Rabbit would ponder then nod happily looking around to the clan and up to PondStar. The leader would nod before speaking. "LilySwarm is the only queen at the moment so she will look after you in the nursery. This clan is dismissed and make sure to welcome RabbitKit." He would nod then leap down and pad over to LarkWing and GingerFoot.

"So you are going to be like an adoptive brother then!" a Yellow tom came running over with a gray tom trotting in behind.  RabbitKit would shrug and nod looking between the two. "Well Im YellowKit and this is FrogKit!" YellowKit piped up exctied as FrogKit just nodded shyly.

"Let RabbitKit get back to the medicine cat den; He still has a long way to heal before he comes to sleep with us." LilySwarm spoke and herded her kits away. RabbitKit would be thankful as he went back into LarkWings den where her curled up in the nest he was in before. It wasnt long before the long day and infection he was fighting got to him and sleep over came him.
