The next morning Jess began her morning routine, she collected the post and the milk from the front door and litup evry scented candle in the house. The insence sticks smelt of lavender, a sent which she now loathed after years of the same job.Meanwhile her mother was listening to the radio in the kitchen when an announcement innterupted her favourite song:
"BREAKING NEWS!
BRITAIN HAS ENTERED THE WAR TO DEFEND OUR ALLIES WE WILL BE UNDRATTACK AT ANYMOMENT SO BE PRE-"
The radio stopped abruptly and jess could see the German bombrs heading towards the main city, howevr the German pilot must have spotted the farm and dropped a bomb outside the house which luckily rolled down the hill just across from the farm. A blood curdling scream came from the cows field, Jess' brother was out milking the cows at the time of the explosion, Jess and her mother realied this and darted to the end of the farm to aid him.
By this time Ethans leg was puple and there was a puddle of blood were he laid, his face was scratched and cut from the flying debris from the destructed barbwire fence which surrounded the cows designated area. Crys and howls filled the early morning air as Ethan was carrid into the living room leaving a trail of blood behind him. His blood was lost in large amounts.
"Oh my lord, help my son, heal him with your heavenly medicines, I am relying o you and you only, i will not allow a doctor to operate or even lay a finger on him, oh my lord please help us!" Her mother wept and prayed for three hours and Jess was instructed hr to join her.
