Being an off day in a week when you're supposed to work; a weekday, was one fantasy every doctor had pictured.

So, no exceptions, I was pretty relaxed for the day too.

Well, excluding the fact that even today, there was no sneaking in bed for a couple of more minutes as Jungkook was still working.

And of course, being the fantastic person I am, I decided to make Jungkook a healthy lunch for the day because I remember him mentioning something about his crappy cooking skills, so yeah, I thought I'd be of some help.

I placed the veggie rolls in the box, aligning them neatly before closing the lid on top.

Coming to think of it, this would potentially be my first time preparing something for Jungkook as his wife. There's no margin to mess it up, I guess.

I was busy humming a soft melody while cleaning up the place but something else interrupted me in a flash.

"You're up early today?"

A raspy voice emerged from somewhere behind me as I jumped a bit before spinning around to see a drowsy-looking Jungkook standing in front with a clueless face a d squinty eyes.

I exhaled out loud before looking back at him; "Y-yeah",

I wanted to disclose the fact that I was preparing his lunch for the day but something in me told me just stay quiet for the time being.

He lightly nodded his head or more like couldn't control it from dozing off for a few seconds before slowly walking up the stairs.

Probably for a shower, I guess.

"I'll go wash up", I could hear his low voice getting distant by every word as a small smile crept over my lips.

This is going to be interesting, Jeon Y/N.

"Oh! You look fresh now", I chimed as my husband's masculine figure jogged down the staircase; a discreet smile plastered on his face.

"Hm, a warm shower really helps", he made a quick response before grabbing his office bag from the couch, staying put just to look at me for a few seconds.

"I-I'll be a bit late today. Please don't keep waiting for me."

He instructed as I looked down, a bit disappointed by his sudden distant behavior, but nodded my head anyway.

There was a patch of silence filling the room before I realized about the lunch I had prepared.

I jerked my head towards the small building of Tupperware boxes stacked up on the marble counter, I lifted them before carefully packing them inside a lunch case.
