It gets complicated

THE NEW RECRUIT

  It was Monday and the weekend was over. Andy was so excited because it would officially be her first day as Captain. She got up out of bed, showered, made breakfast and then woke the girls up. Of course Vic didn't want to get up while Maya was ready to eat and go for a run.
When Maya returned from her run Vic had finally woken up and went for breakfast.
" Good Morning Sleepyhead" Maya said as she walked to the shower.
" Ugh what time is it" Said Vic as she went to the couch.
" It's 6 in the morning ... shift starts soon" Andy said giving Vic her breakfast.

The Girls had gotten ready and went to the station. At Dean's place Jack had stayed over again because Dean's house was close
to the hospital. Jack went to take a shower while Dean made breakfast. After they both finished eating and getting ready they went to the station.

When everyone arrived they were surprised to see Ben and Sullivan already there. They all went to the kitchen like every other morning and talked about chores for today. Since Andy was Captain she got to make the calls.

" Emmett your on reception today. Dean, Ben your on Aid car . Everyone else you start cleaning the Trucks and equipment."

Andy smiled. She was so proud of herself for ordering everyone. Sullivan requested to talk to Andy.

" Sir you called for me?"
"Yes. I just wanted to tell you that we have a new recruit joining us today.... and here she is now."

Andy turned around and saw a beautiful woman standing behind her. She had nice curly hair, her eyes were green, and her skin tone was a little lighter than Sullivan's.

" Hi, I'm Azrael Lewis nice to meet you." The woman said
" Nice to meet you too I'm Captain Andrea Herrera but everyone calls me Andy." She said with a smile.
" I'm assuming you already know the Battalion chief." Andy said
" Yes I met him last month ... it's nice to see you again sir." Azrael said with a smile
" Same to you." Sullivan said also with a smile

Andy felt weird when she saw them just smiling at each other. She immediately left the office after telling Azrael where she could find her. Maya saw Andy run into her office and went after her.

" What's wrong." Maya asked
" I feel like I'm going to be sick. I could swear that Sullivan was just flirting with the new recruit."
" I'm think I'm gonna be sick too. That's just .... unexpected."

Meanwhile in Sullivan office Azrael had closed the door and shut the blinds. Sullivan with a smirk on his face told her to come closer. Azrael without any hesitation went to him and they started to make out.

"It didn't seem like they were just colleges. They seemed like more." Andy told Maya
" Friends Maybe." Maya said trying to convince Andy.
"Maybe" Andy said as she walked out her office.

Andy and Maya were helping everyone clean the trucks . When Andy looked up and saw that the blinds in Sullivan's office were closed. She looked around and saw that Azrael was no where to be found. Just then the alarm went of requesting all the trucks. It was a all hands on deck situation so Emmett joined them as well. Andy was putting on her gear, she couldn't find Azrael. She knew she couldn't waste any time waiting for her to come so everyone left.

In Sullivan's office Azrael was in bed with Sullivan. They had stopped what they were doing when the alarm went off and quickly started to get dressed. When Azrael arrived downstairs everyone had already left. Sullivan had accompanied her downstairs and also saw that everyone was gone. She looked at Sullivan and without even talking they went back upstairs.

Station 19 arrived at the building and saw that there was a massive fire. They had to start evacuating people immediately.

" Bishop, Emment, Gibson you starting putting out the fire. Hughes, Montgomery and I will start evacuating." Andy said
