ABANDONED [COMPLETED]

The Deed

Today is finally the day when I will be leaving home to stay at the high school dorm,my home is several miles away from the high school am attending and due to that my parents had worked hard to afford a dormitory for me.

Am Arthit Rojnapat,16 years of age,am from a humble family,my parents ain't really poor since we can afford a simple home,two meals a day,some clothes,well not new ones though,second hand clothes to be exact but we are still one happy family.

I am the only child,my parents taught me to become a better person in the future,born from a Christian home my family are still very open minded. My father is a low employee from a company and my mother is housewife but she still do some part time jobs to support my father and I.

I know how difficult our lives are,how hard they are trying to make me comfortable and at the same time happy so,when I got to my third grade,my last semester which will pave way to me getting a scholarship to a very renowned university,they think it will be best if i stay in a dormitory at school,that way i will be able to focus on my study.

They had work so hard to get me where I am today,so with determination am ready to study very hard for my final exams,I won't brag but am quite a brilliant kid so I am positive I can make my parents proud of me.

Dad and Mom escorted me to the bus station,they kissed me goodbye and said lot of encouraging and loving words to me before I got in the next bus with the high school location as the destination in mind. I came there for holidays as I always do and now am on my way to the beginning of the finally battle ahead.

When I got to school,I was shown to my dormitory which I will be sharing with three other students,I greeted them which they all responded with smiles because they are also my mates in class, well that's great.

"Arthit,you are here!" My friend Rome said hugging me tight,he is my best friend from first grade till now,he had been my companion since,he is someone whom I share my everything with. I don't usually make friends since all my focus had always been in books but when I met him,we had alot in common and just like that we clicked and here we are.

"Can you not hug me so tight...you are squeezing the life out of me." I said which made Rome pull away and smiled awkwardly.

"Sorry,I just missed you. So what are we doing?" Rome asked.

"First help me unpack my things,and settle my books on my desk then lay my bed after that we go check the lesson table...by the way,what did you do to get the same dormitory as me?" I asked with an eyebrow raised,I suspect this guy,Rome is from a very comfortable home,not poor neither rich,something like that and he kinda have his ways of getting what he wants,oh naa he doesn't do anything shady,he is an honest guy.

"Nothing..." He said trying to avoid my gaze. But I stare at him hard wanting him to say what he did because he really did something,there are no coincidence like that in this world maybe yet.

"Rome!!"

"I did nothing."

"Rome!!"

"What?!"

"Rome!!!!"

"Ok ok....I maybe have kinda convinced P'Nai to change my dorm room so I can be with you in the same dorm. 👉👈?" He said.

"Oh you...." I said with a sigh.

"Let's forget about that...tell me,are you hungry because am furmished." He said and dramatically rub his hand on his flat belly,I rolled my eyes at him and started unpacking my things to put them at the right places. By now the other two roommates had gone out maybe to eat? I don't know.
