Chapter 2 - Hunting the Hunter

Yuri's POV

Yuri managed to cover about a hundred inches as he felt a cold breeze behind him. "Hm...I'm being followed." Someone or something out there took Cardamon and might be look for him next. Yuri, with a plan yo capture the creature, ran to a small grove as he wrote something on a small piece of note and placed it between 3 trees. He started to climb up one of them and hid deep in the leaves, waiting for the mysterious creature to find it.

Bumblebee's POV

"Still following the intruder, will report back in a few minutes to update on the- huh?"

Bee looked up from her audiolog to find that the kid had gone out of her line of sight, but how?

"Sheesh, why must he make this so hard..."

With a frown, the blonde switched on her scanners to scope the area for lifeforms, giving her a good idea of her current surroundings and just where the tall one was hiding. Let's see... Little creatures in a burrow to her left, a large furry one hunting smaller ones in a field to her right, and a big one in a tree by that clearing. A monkey-like alien? That would seem to be it, but a note?

"Bingo! But it's seems weird...."

Shifting the unconscious child from one arm to another, Bumblebee switched off the device before taking a closer look at the weird thing pinned to the tree. It wasn't like the holo-slates that she was used to, it had a weird texture to it. Not to mention a foreign alien language, like what was that?

What did the armband say?

"Computer, scan the item and tell me everything you can. Oh! And translate the words on it too if possible."

The note said "LOOK BEHIND YOU" and "DON'T LOOK UP" in a creepy font writing as Yuri goes into the pockets inside his black coat and pulled out a hatchet then waited for Bumblebee to put Cardamon down and turn around.

"C'mooooon, put him down and take the bait, you thieving hoodlum." Whispered Yuri.

"Oh come on! Hurry up!"

Why did her tech have to be so slow? It was so unfair, this was definitely going to be a request soon....

Eventually Bee gave up and just deposited the note in her sleeve compartment, turning around with a huff and she bounced the kid on her arm.

"It's fine Carterman, we'll find that friend of yours and arrest him too-"

Oh shit...

"Eeeek!"
The blonde let out a shriek as she clutched the cuffed boy to her chest, quickly using her visor's scanner to look the intruder up and down. He had a few weapons on him, not including the sharp one in his hands, and his threat level was significantly high for someone that wasn't an active decepticon or autobot soldier like her...

'Right!' The girl reminded herself, 'I'm an autobot soldier, why do I have to be intimidated by this kid?'

Bumblebee took a moment to clear her throat, then pointed at him with her best intimidating voice that she had been practicing.
"H-Halt! Y-You are trespassing on Autobot territory! State your name and purpose or be met with corrective action!"

Yuri's POV

Yuri opened his black jacket and took a small hatchet out of the pockets. He had lots of space in his jacket, which was perfect for hiding any weaponry. Yuri was hoping to have them for a more dangerous situation, but why delay the inevitable, right?
