Chapter 18: Experiment

Little did they all know, Kuma tried to follow the car. The door was left open and kuma already got out when the gate was closed.

The mansion was hidden in the forest but there is a brick path connecting the end of the forest through the exit and the mansion. Kuma got lost in the middle of the  forest, howling, wishing that someone will found him but Liam's people doesn't even know that he got out.

Hours later, he got further and further.So far away that he got out to the city. A black van accidentally hit him hard, making him die instantly because of the impact. The driver got out of the car followed by a passenger.

Realizing who the owner is . They got their knives and choped Kuma's head off, leaving his body and getting his chopped head and collar with him. His body was soon thrown away in the bin outside the building owned by Liam's dead father.

L I A M

"So Jennie, what do you want to eat?"

As promised, I brought Jennie for a date. Bambam and Jackson was also with us but in a different table.

"Steak, salad...Uhmmm. Oooh fries" She cutely said making not just me laugh, but also the waiter.

"I'll get the same with her"I simply said and smiled towards the waiter. He nodded and wrote our orders down. He offered us a wine and we both agreed to get a bottle. He smiled at us, bowing before leaving.

"So, about Kuma. I think we should give him more toys or probably give him another brother so he wouldn't be alone" I nicely offered and Jennie nodded. "He was just only a month old with us yet all the foods and treats you bouth for him are already gone. Just like you, he has a big apettite" She joked and I can't help but to adore her even more.

"Well he is my son anyways" She gently held my right hand that was resting above the table and started playing with my fingers.

"He is. But the thing is. You're a monkey. How could that be?" She let go of my hand and laughed. I just rolled my eyes and looked at her, sweetly smiling knowing how happy she is.

The waiter appeared and smiled at us, putting a small pale of ice bucket with our wine surounded by ice. It's not an ice bucket without the ice duh.

He gave our order to us. A plate with medium rare steak infront of us with our salad and fries. "Enjoy your meal", He nicely said and we thanked him before he bowed and left.

After we finished eating, my phone started to vibrating inside my pocket. Marco's number, my butler, appeared on display and I answered his call. "Master, don't be mad but, the dog excaped", He nervously said I instantly shot my eyes on Jennie seeing her drinking her wine calmly. "What?! How did this happened?!" I loudly whisper getting Jennie's attention. I got up and walked towards Bambam and Jackson's table to alarm them to ready the car. "He tried to follow the car, knowing that it was carrying you and Ms.Kim. I didn't have the chance to quickly closed the door and he took his chance and ran away", He continued his explaination. I angrily drop the call and quickly walked towards Jennie commanding her to stand and leave with me. The was already car waiting for us outside the restaurant. As soon as we both got in, my phone started ringing once again. It was Jisoo.

"A Black van drop something infront of your building" She huriedly said.

"You sounded worried, what happened?" I questioned.

"I opened the bin and saw a dog that looked like Kuma" My eyes widened but I let her finish her words.

"I'm not sure if it's really him since his head is chopped off. But I am.....ummmm...80% sure it's him" I told Bambam to drive to our building. Jennie looked at me confused and worried.

"What's happening??" She softly asked me. I'm starting to worry if I should tell her or not. Whenever I left for my missions, Kuma was there to entertain her while I'm gone. I know how Jennie loves her fur babies, and I know that Kuma means a lot to her.

"Kuma is-" She cut me off, quickly grabbing my collar.

"What happened to Kuma?!" She was extremely worried and anxious. There is nothing left to do but to hug her tight.

"Marco called me that he got out, trying to follow our car. He must have been looking the way back at thr mansion but instead got to the city. Jisoo called me. Saying that he saw Kuma's dead body in the bin." She cried into my arms.

"We can revive him right?! W-We can still run him to the vet! We can-"

"His head was chopped off Jennie. There is nothing left to do but to get his dead body and give him a better place to rest forever" I tried to soften my voice while explaining, but I ended up making her cry even more. I shouln't have said that his head was chopped.

We arrived at our destination. Looking at the window, I saw Jisoo with a box. I told Jennie to wait in the car but she declined and told me that she wanted to see Kuma so I just let her, if that's what she wants.

"Hey, hey ,hey. Disclaimer this is nit my fault. I just saw someone threw him there in the bin. I was about to go in the building to check your balance to make sure nobody is stealing something when I saw a black car then blah blah blah" She explained seeing Jennie with a furious look. Jisoo laid the box and let Jennie see. I was behind her so I could take a look of what happened. The sight was terrible and horrifying. They also took his tail and collar but I know that dog is Kuma. Jennie quickly closed the box with her hands shaking.

"T-this is not Kuma! Tell me! Just please tell me this is not him and I'm just seeing another dog that looked like him!", She was begging. Told Jackson to put the box in the back of the car and told Bambam to call Marco that he has to pay for what happened. He need to dig a 7 feet deep ,36 inches in long and 15 inch width in the backyard by his own hands using 5 metal spoons wearing a snow coat and a thick pants in the middle of the afternoon while the sun is brightly shining and giving heat, with no water.

Jennie was already having hard time breathing. I just carried her and told Jisoo that we'll just give her a ride and asked her to stay with Jennie.

"I'm sorry but that's the only thing I can do. But I'm just wondering why would a person do such thing. You know, even if that person is a hunter, he'll just kill and chop his head off and take his collar. And they are  in a expensive van wearing a black mask and suits. Bro they wear suits!",We just got back. Bambam, Jisoo, Jackson are with me  in my office, talking about what happened. What Jisoo said makes sense, who would do such thing like that? And they wear suits?! What are they're job? Selling dog heads on eBay?

"So...What now? You're just gonna sell that on eBay?" A woman nonchalantly asked. The Man shot her a 'are you kidding me?' look.

"No dumb-ass. A collection, souvenir, a medal but not a trophy. A...ummm...A 'you can kill him' support. Something like that" He said putting the head inside a glass box.

"So...Kuma huh? Nice name. You sure this dog belongs to Liam. What is this dog belongs to Jennie?" The Woman asked again. The man snatched the dog collar away from her hands.

"He belongs to both of them"

"Then you are gonna make Madam J cry. I thought she's your princess" She said, sitting and the couch. The man froze from he's doing and thought deeply.

"I'm just gonna give her Kai the dog. That should be enough" He placed the glass box on his shelf with the collar surrounding it.

LIAM

"The collar has a tracker!" Liam snapped making all of them flinch. "I put a tracker on Kuma's dog collar when I bought him". Liam quickly called The gang to come over. Something was really fishy with Kuma's sudden death.
