The guys stayed after the party to help me clean up, which I was very grateful for cause that means I can have the guys move my table back in so I don't have to use my magic! They ended up going back to the guard tower and I walked into my room. I just changed into a long t-shirt and went to bed but I didn't exactly rest easily, I gotta weird feeling somethings watching me. I woke up the next morning to someone knocking on my door. I walk downstairs not even thinking about the fact that I'm just wearing a large shirt and open the door. "Hey Y/N!" Aphmau greets. "A...Aphmau? What are you doing awake? It's so early?" I ask still feeling sleepy. She gave ma a annoyed look "It's noon Y/N." She explains. "WHAT?! OH NO I HAD THE MORNING SHIFT!!!!" I exclaimed as I go to run up the stairs. Aphmau grabs my arm "Y/N wait! I have a gift to you guards from Lady Katelyn, when you get over to the tower can you bring the guys this?" Aphmau asks. "Umm sure what is it?" I ask. "You'll see! And also next time you answer the door make sure you're not just wearing a shirt, I could've been someone important." She joked. I felt embarrassed and awkwardly giggled. "Yeah thank you Aphmau!" I thanked her. I closed the door and ran upstairs to see what's in the bag. I opened it up and dragged all of its contents out, there were three pairs of male armor and one female. It was at this moment I realized how really outnumbered I am compared to the guys. I should try to get Nicole to join the guard! Either way I put on my new armor, and I look amazing!

I'm so excited to see how the guys look in their new armor! I put all the guy's armor back into the bag and run to the tower. I climb up the ladder to see that they're all here. "Hey guys! We got guard upgrades!" I exclaim. "Y/N where were you?!?! You had a shift this morning!" Dante yelled. "Y-Yeah I apologize I slept in." I explain. "But you never sleep in, you're usually awake before us." Laurance points out. "Yeah I used a lot of my magic yesterday and it made me sleep longer, in fact I should've slept longer." I admit. Then the guys finally noticed my part of the guard upgrades. "Y/N where did you get that armor from?" Garroth asked. "Well technically I got it from lady Aphmau but it was given to her by Katelyn." I explain. "That's odd, I designed this armor back in Oh'kahsis." Garroth admits. "You did! Well I absolutely love it." I admit with a spin. "Y/N why would Lady Katelyn give these to us?" Garroth asked. I was confused by his question but I thought about it "Well it could be for the obvious reason that she's just may want to be a good person, or maybe it could be because she doesn't want anyone else to make the designs, or maybe she wants you to owe her something I honestly don't know." I reply but I emphasized the her being a good person bit. "Hmm well then I should talk to Lady Aphmau about the payment. I won't refuse it cause I know of its amazing quality., However I don't want her feeling as if we owe her." Garroth explains. "Alright but I'm telling you Garroth she's a good person." I assure him. "Hmm well either way we better get dressed." Garroth admits. Wait he doesn't mean in front of me does he!? They all climb down the ladder and I realized my thought before sounded stupid. I stand in the window and hum whilst waiting for the guys to get done. Who was it that brought me flowers last night? It wasn't the guys, and even though Katelyn totally would've gotten me flowers it couldn't of been her. Could it be a secret admirer? If so then who is it? Ugh what is taking the guys so long? I turn around to see the guys in their new armor.

Wow the armor is flashy but they all look really handsome, and that's hard to say when it comes to my brother. "W-What do you think?"Garroth asks. "Wow. I-I mean it's a bit flashy for our village but you guys look great!" I admit. I walk over to Laurence. "Hey Laurence you're looking good!" I admit. "Good enough for you to fall for me?" Laurence flirts. "Hah not that good." I joke. "Aww man well alas one day you'll be begging me to marry you!" Laurence chuckled. "Why don't we get married right now Laurence?" I joke. "Hah now it's too late cause I already love... this table!" Laurence exclaims. "Aww that's too bad cause I was just gonna have Garroth marry us." I admit joking. "Wait really? Cause if so I was totally joking." Laurence assures. "No now I love the table!" I joke. "NO I LOVED IT FIRST!" Laurence laughs. We both burst out laughing, "Heh thanks for the laugh! Anyway I have to go on my guard shift, try not to flirt with any tables while I'm gone. I'm still looking to make you mine after all." Laurence admits with a wink. I decided to go thank Katelyn for the upgrades so I signal the captain of the boat. I walk onto the boat and don't see Katelyn anywhere. "Hello Lady Katelyn isn't seeing anyone at the moment but I'll let her know you're here." One of her guard's assures. I bow "Thank you." I thank him. He comes back a few minutes later, "Lady Katelyn wishes to converse with you in her quarters." The guard admits. I nod and follow him to Katelyns room on the ship, he leaves and I hear soft whimpers from inside. I hesitantly knock on her door "Katelyn? It's me Y/N." I admit softly. She opens the door and her eyes look red and puffy, she's a few inches taller than me so I have to look up at her. "Katelyn? Are you ok?" I ask as I put one of my hands on her cheek. "Come inside." She orders. We walk in and she sits on her bed, she signals for me to sit next to her. "What's wrong?" I ask in a concerned tone. "They found out you didn't die." Katelyn explains.  I start to feel worried, "Zane has started a search for you, but the worst of all is that they suspect that Jeffery kidnapped you." Katelyn explains as she starts to cry.
"W-What?" I ask as tears begin to fall. She just reaches her arms out and I instantly fall into her embrace and cry. She slowly rubs my back trying to comfort me. "T-They can't! They j-just can't!" I exclaim while still crying. "I know Y/N, I know." Katelyn agreed.
