Taehyung sat quietly on his bed in his new appartment just starring at the walls hoping his friend would actually come when he heard the knock and sprang out to open the door.
"Jimin !" , Taehyung said as his face looked a lot more relived at the sight of his friend.
"There , there ; I told you I would come didn't I?" , Jimin said patting Taehyung's back as he made his way inside the apartment.
"I thought you wouldn't come" , Taehyung said quietly.
"I promised , I had to come , how are you holding up?" , Jimin asked facing Taehyung.
"I'm alright just a little homesick" , Taehyung said sitting down next to Jimin.
"I know but hold in here Taehyung, you got a scholarship at a wonderful university, just forget about your bad experiences and memories in Seoul and start a new life here" , Jimin said smiling.
"Thank you for helping me get away" , Taehyung said.
"Get away ? You're the one got the scholarship and you're just 19 , I'm just helping you finance your lodgings here" , Jimin said.
"Do you think I can do it ? Do you think I can change myself for the better here?" , Taehyung asked.
"Ofcourse you can , I know you will become someone really confident few years down the line , you have the potential Taehyung" , Jimin said.
"Hearing that makes me feel better , I'll just be a little lonely though" , Taehyung said.
"I know you'll be lonely , but you'll meet new people here to , you can have new friends" , Jimin said .
"I'll miss you" , Taehyung said.
"I'll miss you to , but don't worry every year I'll come to Paris and visit you on this day okay ? " , Jimin said getting up.
"You promise?" , Taehyung asked.
"Even though I'm here for just a few hours and I have a flight to catch back today itself, I'll promise that I'll come and visit you" , Jimin said.
"Do you have to go today?" , Taehyung asked.
"I don't want to , but you know he will notice that I'm gone , " , Jimin said.
"Alright have a safe flight then" , Taehyung said .
"Thank you , I will ; take care of yourself Taehyung, be strong! " , Jimin said as Taehyung opened the door for him.
