I fond this video on YouTube. It aggravates me to no end. This is basically the comment I made on the viseo

She invited disagreement, she's gonna get it.

Hi, I am a Nonbinary person. I use They/Them pronouns. Deal with it. I am going to go through every point made, and tell you how she is wrong.

"What she said"

What I say

1.Science

"There are two genders." Incorrect, there are two sexes. There are many more genders.

"Anything that is not those two genders is a mental disorder." There is something that some NB people have. It's a little something called GENDER DYSPHORIA

"Trans people are valid." Nonbinary is a type of trans. The white strip on the flag is for the Nonbinary and other transgenders that aren't male or female.

2.Attention

"NB people just want attention." No, I do not want to draw attention to my gender, I do not bring it up much.

"We need to draw a line somewhere." Those examples that she used all have a major difference from being NB.Doing those things will lead to the harm of yourself and others. Not identifying as NB for NB people can be very harmful to them, but doing so will harm no one.

"With all these people, it is the first thing they tell you about them." Fun fact, I do not have my pronouns in any of my bios, I do not often bring it up. Another fun fact, many people put their pronouns i their bios, this includes cis people.

3.Politics

"Never seen a NB person who wasn't a millennial leftist." Really? Never? Well today's your lucky day! Now you have. Also, I'm not a millennial.

"If you pass, I'll respect your pronouns." If you pass. IF YOU PASS! Wow, do I want to smack her. Many, MANY, F to M or M to F trans people do not pass, yet she says to respect them. Hmm...

"NB people are just to scared to commit to fully transitioning." To scared to commit?!? If I were to transition to male (I was born female) it would not fix a thing, being as I am not that either.

"Will not respect you if you are not confident in your gender." I am very confident in my gender.

4.Language Policing

"NB go on and on about being Nb and if you don't except it they don leave you alone." Again, I do not announce my gender. I only mention it when necessary. Not constantly like is suggested. That is most NB people I've met.

"It is their whole life." It is not my life, it is just who I am.

5.Affecting you

"It is dishonest." What's dishonest is not coming out. My hiding it we are being dishonest.

"We need to face reality." THIS IS REALITY.

That is all the point I have to make. I hope you have a wonderful day.
