I am truly thankful for my precious readers who enjoyed this short story and commented and voted on it, even though it's just a contest entry i'm not particularly fond of.
However, what I might have mentioned before is that I was also working on something else. And so, without further ado, I'm happy to introduce to you my new book (first one actually) : Freefall.

Introverted perfectionist, Audrey Olsen, is used to having everything planned out to the finest detail. All she wants is to get through her senior year of high school unscarred and qualify for a college scholarship. What lays ahead is therefore nice and clear: just another quiet year amongst studies, shifts at the bookshop, and most importantly, avoiding drama and unnecessary attention.
However, what her perfect plan didn't consider was an unexpected turn of events named Cameron Alvarez, a troubled and cryptic boy returning to what couldn't feel lesser than home.
Both haunted by their painful pasts and bearing raging storms inside of them, they can only overcome it all together.
Yet how dangerous would that be, -- to step off the edge of the precipice and let nothing but the force of gravity interfere as you free-fall. . .
But as Audrey well knows, anything that falls, sooner or later gets broken.
Is that a risk she's willing to take?
