Chapter four: Wink.

"Hey Aria?"

The boy said. He looked at me. I looked back. He smiled. I blushed. Hazel saw nothing because she was to busy drinking her apple juice. I looked away, and so did he. Hazel looked confused at me. I pretended nothing was up. "Ariaaaaa? Wassup?" And she smirked. "Nothing! Nothing! I promise!" And I smiled. She still smirked. I smiled and sighed. Nolan secretly smiled and looked into my eyes again. I smiled back, but I managed not to blush this time. I spark landed on my eyes from him.

" hey we should hang out later after school, after all, it's the beginning of the year, so no homework yet!" Hazel said. "At mine? I said." "Okay!" Nolan said.

Little side not: we are in our senior year.

Later, when we arrived at my house, Hazel looked weird. She had a confusing fase expression. "Is this... your house?!" "Uh, yeah?" I said. "It is, beautiful". "Uh thank you! I guess..". We walked inside. We walked in and the first thing Hazel did was jump on the couch. "Oh my god this couch is amazing!" She yelled. Nolan and me started laughing. He stared at me again, right in my eyes. I started staring back. While Hazel pretended to fake sleep, Nolan walked up to me, still staring into my eyes. He layed his hands on my face. I stepped back because I got scared. "Hey! Don't do that in my sight guys!" Hazel said. He quickly got his hand off my face. I felt scared, because have never experienced something like this, I just didn't know what to do and it felt weird. "Anyways" is said. Hazel smirked at me. We walked upstairs. After we all sat down I went downstairs to get some snacks. "I'll go grab some snacks quick.". "Hey,Aria?"Nolan asked. "Yes?" "Where's the toilet?" "Oh follow me.". So me and Nolan first walked to the bathroom. After he got into the bathroom, I walked downstairs. I was about to grab a few bowls when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around. But instead I was like 2 centimeters away from Nolan's face. "I-" I said. "I came to apologize, for... earlier.." Nolan said. He looked sad. "Hey, it's okay" and I tried to look into his eyes. His eyes began to light a little again when we eye contacted. He smiled at me, I smiled back. Well, at least it was cute he apologized. We came back upstairs with the snacks. We talked and laughed for almost 3 hours.

Later when I waved at Hazel, Nolan left too. He waved at me and, he....? Winked? It looked like he winked at me.. just ignore it. It was probably something normal for him. I guess...

The next day I arrived at school, Nolan and Hazel were waiting for me in front of the school. "Hey Aria!" Nolan said happy. "Hi guys!" I said back. Hazel only gave a smile. So we walked inside. "What class do we have next?". Hazel asked me. "Uhm, Sience, I thought." "UHHHHGGGG, nOt sciEnce..." she sighed. "It's not that bad" I replied. "Yeah, at least it's not listening the whole hour" Nolan said. So walked to science. When we sat down, Nolan asked me if he could sit next to me. "Yeah sure!" I said. He smiled.
