"Will you go to prom with me, Aria?"
Me and Nolan walked hand in hand through the school hall's. Everyone was staring at us. I started to let go off Nolan's hand, but Nolan grabbed my hand again and held it tight. He looked at me and gave me this look. He smiled. I smiled back. We walked through the halls, and Nolan had this proud look on his face, wich made me smile. Once it was break, Nolan grabbed my arm as soon as the bell rang. He dragged me down the hall, to our secret spot outside and we waited there for Hazel. We sat down. "Why the rush?" I asked him. "Uhm, nothing!" And he smiled. I grabbed my lunch and Hazel walked up to us. "Hellooo couple weirdo's". And she sat down. "Please don't go make out or something okay?". I laughed, but Nolan stayed quiet. I looked right into his eyes. He wanted me to come with him. We both stood up and walked away. I signed to Hazel I didn't know what was happening. She nodded confused. Nolan grabbed my arm and dragged me through the halls. We suddenly stopped walking. He looked right, then left. I looked at his face, trying to contact him, but he never looked at my face. He pulled me to the janitors loft, and dragged me in. He closed the door and locked it. That's when he looked right into my eyes. He stared for a long time. "Nolan?" I asked. "Aria." He said and took a deep breath. "Will you go to prom with me?"he asked. "Wait what?". He got watery eyes. I started to get watery eyes too, and smiled. To releave him. "Yes" and I kissed him. He grabbed my head and kissed me. "I can't wait to see you in a beautiful dress". I laughed.
We walked back outside to Hazel. When we got there, we stood hand in hand beside the table. Hazel started to smirk. I raised one eyebrow. When I looked to Nolan, he sat on one knee and asked me: "am I doing it right like this? I got you a ring Aria." I smiled and hugged him. "Do you like it?" He asked me. "Yes, I love it, I love you."
"I knew al along. Actually, Nolan and me planned this a week ago." "All of this?" I asked. Hazel nodded. I laughed, Nolan and Hazel started to laugh too. "Oh wow." I said. "It was great though"
we walked back into class. I sat next to Nolan. I had my hand on the table and Nolan grabbed my hand, slipped his fingers beside mine. I smiled at him. He smiled back, and he blushed. That smile meant so much to me. "Hey, lovebirds! No time to be flirty in class! Now get to work please." The teacher said to us. He immidiatly let go of my hand. I looked at his face. " yes sir " Nolan said. He grabbed my hand again and pulled our hands under the table. "Nonsense" he said, and smiled.
