We live in a lawless nation where killings, brutality, seems to be the norm😫 We live in a nation where bribery and corruption has eaten so deep into the lives of not only our leaders but also top officials🤬 We live in a nation where everybody seems to be manipulative and all we say is "this is Nigeria"😞 We live in a nation where citizens express their most fundamental human right and all they get in return is guns being shot at them🤕😪😢😭 We live in a nation where leaders commit grave offenses and nobody is brought to justice.🤫 We live in a nation where leaders act "Nollywood scenes" right before our eyes just to get away with their misdeeds🤷♀️🤦♀️ We live in a nation where the word "integrity" sounds archaic.🙅♀️ We express our grievances and the most devastating answer we get is "silence" 😡 All these have been our reality for too long.😓 ____________________________ We are choking😫 We are barely breathing😨 We are barely surviving🤧 We have been cheated for too long😢 We have been quiet for too long🤐😥 We have respected our leader's judgment for too long😭 We are tired of vague promises
_______________ We have lifted our voices in one accord in the place of prayer🙏 There is a shift already✊ We are not ignorant of this move We can no longer afford to be quiet. A new Nigeria has to be birthed where peace and unity can make sense to us again.🤔 Where the truth is not mixed with lies🌓 Where transparency and accountability remain the tenet of government📍 Where the true meaning of leadership -"to serve" becomes the key thing📌 Where leaders are not egocentric and people's needs would be placed above theirs.🧐 Where citizens are allowed to express themselves and even get applauded afterward without being harassed or killed.🤗👏 Where we can work together as one body.✊💓 Where the citizens in diaspora can be excited to come back to their homeland.💃🕺🇳🇬 Where security becomes one of the mainstays in the country.🏘 Where we enjoy the basic amenities of a good regime.💡📚🏗🏞💼 We cry out for a REBIRTH!!!!🇳🇬
