After a long shower and changing her clothes, Winter went out to the living room where Agmos was seated with Swindle. Both of them looked up when she came in and Winter had a flashback of her dream which caused her to blush slightly. Shaking her head slightly to clear the thoughts from it, she gave them both a smile.
"Should we go and get this over with?" She asked.
"Do you want to eat or anything before we leave?" Swindle asked, standing up.
"No, I'm alright. I want to see who is calling me and why." Winter answered, fidgeting with her fingers.
"Alright. Agmos, you know where we are going, right?" Swindle asked and Agmos nodded, pushing his hair out of his face.
"Yeah, yeah, you showed me already. I know." Agmos replied and Swindle looked over at Winter.
"Who do you wish to go with?" The taller demon asked.
"It doesn't matter." Winter knew no matter who she went with, she would end up blushing because of the dream anyway. She went close to them and took Swindle's hand. The moment her fingers touched his, the dream flashed through her mind making her blush again.
"Why are you blushing?" Agmos asked making her blush harder.
"No reason. No reason at all." Came her quick reply, unable to meet his gaze. Agmos' smirk widened at her reaction.
"You were moaning quite a bit last night, did someone have a wet dream?" Swindle was silent through the conversation, amused at Winter's blushing.
"A 'wet dream'?"
"You dreamt about doing the nasty with someone and judging by that blush it was one of us." Winter felt her face grow even warmer.
"I'm right, aren't I?" Agmos asked and Winter turned her head from his gaze.
"Can we go?" She asked, looking up at Swindle. The moment she did and her eyes met his, she remembered the dream and blushed hard again.
"IT WAS SWINDLE?!" Agmos cried and Winter blushed harder, hiding her face.
"Agmos, volume." Swindle chided and Agmos laughed.
"Can we go, please?" Winter asked again, wondering if the blush would ever come off her face.
"Yes, we can." Swindle replied and teleported them to the ruins. The moment Winter stepped on the stone pathway, a ripple went through her causing her to grip Swindle's hand tighter. All thoughts of her dream and Agmos' teasing vanished.
"Are you alright?" He asked as Agmos appeared behind them. Winter couldn't answer him. Every instinct she had told her to run into the ruins, but she was trying desperately to hold herself back. Finally she swallowed hard and took a couple deep breaths before looking up at Swindle.
"I'm alright. It's...hard to describe how I feel." She looked at the ruins again. As she studied them, she noted how unremarkable they appeared. All it appeared to be was a stone path leading up to a stone edifice carved out of the wall of the surrounding area. She looked around, noticing they were in a bowl-like landscape where the only way in and out besides teleporting was by flying. It made her wonder what it was about this place that made her feel so excited.
"Agmos and I can go no further. If you get into trouble, you will be on your own." Swindle told her. Winter didn't like the idea of not having them with her, but she had to know about the voice calling her.
"I'll be okay." She promised, absently touching the necklace he had placed on her. After letting go of his hand, Winter walked a few paces forward.
